Have had this cover for awhile few months now and its durability is surprisingly strong! Its not even about storms, its more so how it protects from the sun! I anticipate it will last awhile, and my favorite part is the drawstring at the bottom to cinch the cover and help keep it from flying away!

I waited to review this product until I had seen first hand how it performed. I've not had it very long, just a few months, but so far I haven't any complaints as far as its protection value goes. I have this on my back deck, which is sheltered from the north winds. I live in the Midwest where it can and does rain frequently like it was getting paid to do so; and rain with very high winds and pea to nickel size hail. The cover is not sheltered by any overhang so it has taken a few beatings. To date, I've not had any water get inside the cover. I have noticed it is starting to show a little sun damage, but where I like that's to be expected unless the item is inside all the time. My only criticism is, that I find it a challenge to get the mower into the cover as the cover is like a big sack and the wheels and the entire motor housing fit inside the cover. If I had a larger mower I would have to have help getting the cover on. I have a small (14' cutting path) cordless mower so it is quite light - I can pick it up with one hand. Despite its light weight, It can be like trying to put a cat into a box when the cat doesn't want to go. I rated it just 3 stars because I haven't had it long enough to give it a proper rating. When I've had it a year then I'll consider revising the durability rating. At this point I would recommend it as an good quality product for not a lot of money. ... show more

Good lawn mower cover. It's waterproof and has UV protection. Although I don't know why any cover would need both since most lawn mowers are stored in the garage, away from sun exposure and rain and snow. However one important thing is breathability. Th User Manual of the lawn mower states that a lawn mower should be stored in an area that allows mud and grass that are stuck to the lawn mower to dry out and fall off the mower.so that the lawn mower parts won't rust from moisture. I am not sure this cover has this protective feature, but I covered it loosely so air can flow through out to keep it dry and still provide enough coverage to prevent dust to accumulate. ... show more

But it's really thin..so I asked if it actually was rainproof and people are saying it is. I live in Southern Indiana, in the city, and for some reason it's windy here...so I used a lashing strap around and under the mower which was really quick and easy to do and that held the cover perfectly. One end of the cover slides over the handle and there's a cinch string at the bottom. The fabric is not thick at all, so because my mower is electric, I msg'd the seller and this is their reply which says the cover will work for light rain: "Thank you for your interest in our cover! Yes, our cover is waterproof and can effectively protect your vehicle from light to moderate rain. However, we do not recommend using it during heavy rain or prolonged exposure to downpours. This is because rainwater often contains slight acidity and pollutants, which, over time, may affect the material's durability and reduce the product's lifespan. For the best performance, we suggest using the cover primarily for daily protection against dust, sunlight, and light rain, and removing it during extreme weather conditions. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask—we're happy to help! Best regards" ... show more
