If you are really getting into pickleball and want to transition from a beginner paddle but are worried about spending $100+ on a new one, look no further! This paddle has great control, spin, and a decent power. And the price CANNOT be beaten! During my time playing these past 2 years, I've had the opportunity to try other paddles from expensive and big-name brands like Joola, Selkirk, etc., and I can honestly say that this paddle holds up to them but costs two or three times less. Now, some may argue that this paddle comes from a lesser known company and it's trustworthiness and reliability is still yet to be decided, but do know that this paddle IS officially USAPA approved. In fact, I looked them up in the official list and was surprised to actually find this paddle there, which, if you're a heavy Amazon consumer like me, can never be too careful as you likely also understand how flooded the market is nowadays with low quality products making false or ridiculous claims! Will this paddle make your shots easier and better controlled? Yes. Will this paddle improve your spin? Yes. Will this paddle help your game? Yes. Having played competitive tennis and table tennis in the past, I can tell you that this equipment is solid. And unless you are a professional pickleball player, any SLIGHT differences or "advantages" of these paddles are usually moot or overexaggerated because, after all, most players cannot really tell the difference as their issue and what they are likely struggling with is their technique, not paddle. Overall, if you are on the fence like I was about how much you're willing to pay to play pickleball, give this paddle and company a try before diving into the $100-$200 range -- I promise you won't be disappointed! And in the unlikely case that you are, the customer service team will be there for you. While I reached out to them for an unrelated issue, they were extremely responsive within a day or two and immediately resolved my concern. And no, I am not an influencer nor was I paid, asked, or given anything to write this review. In fact, I rarely write reviews, let alone thorough reviews like this, but my experience has been nothing but great and I am hoping that this review will give others the push they need to give this paddle and company a chance! FYI, I saw photos from other reviews that had this paddle contained in a box with a grip and eraser included.     • Great paddle! Excellent value!
As an intermediate player I wanted to get a better paddle. After much research on paddle design, I chose the PBVMURTG. I was really surprised how much better this paddle is than my entry level one. People have commented that my game has improved quite a bit. I have tried several other expensive ($100-$200) name brand paddles and find I like this paddle as good or even better! It has good power, great spin, and really control. Considering it comes with a neoprene cover, an extra handle wrap, and a paddle cleaner, this deal can't be beat. As an additional benefit, if you have any questions you can contact the mfg and they will respond right away. Bottom line: great product, great service, great pricing! I can't lie this little paddle far exceeds the expectations. It undoubtedly has the worst name (you need to work on that China!) but its an absolutely fantastic paddle for the price. I added gray electrical tape to the rim to cover the logo in that area and it ended up looking amazing. The feel is fantastic, tons of grip and this is definitely a well balanced control paddle with very good power. I'll be using this one for awhile. Can't really comment on its longevity as of yet. I will say the handle is a unique shape, almost more of a rectangle than a true hexagon and I kinda like that. Always lets you know where your paddles orientation is without looking. I added 2 overgrips to thicken it up like I typically do. Comes in a box with an extra overgrip and a carbon fiber cleaning eraser. Be cautious of "Free Vine reviews" because those people got the products for free. I did not. If this was over $40 I might look into other options. This paddle is sold under about 6 different brands on Amazon. PS the photos include the overgrip I put on it as well as gray electrcal tape around the rim for protection from scratches. ... show more

This paddle is not one of the mainstream names we hear about all the time but performs better than many of the ones I own. The paddle has good touch and spin capabilities. It has decent power. I would consider this a good all around paddle.

    • Upgrade your game for less than $50!
I have played Pickleball for two years now. I have only used a $15 cheap paddle. I upgraded to this paddle and I can certainly tell the difference. My game is now much better. Mega spin from this paddle and great control. Well made and light.

Bought this paddle with my own money... Paddle has good spin and dwell time. Resets were easy. Thing is .. paddle is heavy.. very heavy. Advertised weight and from other reviewers is ~8oz... paddle came in at 8.4oz for me. I will be returning this paddle.

This paddle has been an excellent surprise at how well it plays. It is proof that you don't have to spend $100+ for a high-quality, carbon paddle with good weight and touch. It's a sure upgrade to my equipment and game. I've had some good wins and some slick shots with this paddle.
