    • Awesome Desk Locking Option!

In spite of what others have said in reviews on this product I found the lock very simple to install and setup. It made for a great option for installing a lock for my desk drawer at work without having to drill a key shaft hole in the company furniture. The only downside that made me give it a 4-star rating was that the battery meter on the app doesn't seem to work. I have been using this for over a month now unlocking it multiple times a day, 5 days a week and the battery is still showing at 100% which is a little hard to believe. I know it can't use much power, but I would have thought it would have gone down a 1-2% by now after all that use. Makes me worry about it not unlocking one day due to not knowing the battery was about to run out. Might be a good idea to make a version that has an adapter option. ... show more

I was really excited about the functionality of this product, but when I went to set it up, it just didn’t work. After putting in the batteries and resetting it, it sounded like the gears were grinding. It didn’t give the same beeps as the instruction video and it would never unlock. When I tried to connect it to the app, the app was never able to see it. Double checked the blue tooth settings and everything seemed fine. I had bought two of these with the same problems on both. Maybe just a bad batch, but I spent way more time trying to figure out the issues than I should have. Sending them both back. ... show more

Installed it in July in a Kallax Ikea 4 cube and door. A lot of adjusting to get it to connect correctly. Stuck it down and could not get to connect using the template and ended up breaking the tip off of a Calphalon knife. Finally got it working and all set and programmed. Now it is Early February and we hear beeping. Figure out it is the door. Try and open it with the card and it just beeps. It will not open and just continues to beep. I have to pull the shelf out and have to tear open to back of the enclosure to get to the lock and change the batteries. So the enclosure is totally ruined. I am glad it was a cheap Ikea door and not an expensive piece of furniture. ... show more

I installed this on a medicine cabinet in my kitchen for safety. The Bluetooth feature is fantastic! I like how discrete this lock is, and the fact that no one has to know that the cabinet is locked unless they go to open it. The cards do not work because of the way I had to install it on my kitchen cabinet. Personally, I do not care about this feature, but I thought it was worth mentioning in the review. The package had all the parts and tools you needed for the installation. It could've done better with an illustrated manual. But if you have searched for this product somewhere else, you probably have watched the instruction video already. If you don't or are just a newbie like me, go to Aliespress, and search the keyword "digital lock" You can find a tutorial video under the same product listing. By the way, it is about $3 cheaper at the other commercial website, but Amazon is the fastest. Make your own decision. Good luck! ... show more

Cool idea, easy to use instructions with QR codes. Bought it to use in a wooden urn I was making for a friend. However it didn’t work. Followed instructions exactly like they showed in the how to video. Tried the rest button with no avail. Took it apart & unplugged it from the mother board and no luck. Changed from brand new energizer batteries to Duracell and still didn’t work. All it did was beep twice rapidly. It was cheap enough that it wasn’t worth the hassle of driving to the ups store because I live on a ranch to far from town. So in the trash it went. Maybe other people will have better luck because like I said I think it’s a really cool idea ... show more
