Difficult to use. Hard to pull strap out. Two pulling pawls are somewhat independent of each other and often don't make good contact. The holding pawl doesn't make good contact either and when the strap is almost completely retracted it sometimes prevents the holding pawl from contacting the toothed wheel at all. Do not trust this under load and do not use it for critical tasks, it is dangerous. ... show more

Not as good of releasing design as you get in some others. Shouldn’t have to use 2 hands to release tension

The pulley was poorly designed and it caused the pulley strap to move to one side the strap binded up and put a large hole in the strap. Also, you have to be careful while cranking sometimes it would unlock. Thank goodness I had a good hold of it then you have to flip the switch
