I can't put my finger on it - maybe a combination of slight design enhancements that makes it have the qualities it offers. It does seem to have a slightly different center of gravity. It feels good. This is a very well made 16mm thermoformed paddle. It has a nice carbon fiber surface with some grit to it that allows you to get good spin on the ball. It has a good balance between control and power with a nice sized sweet spot. The handle is long enough for two handed backhands and has a nice feel although it seemed smaller in circumference than many other paddles but that might be perfect for ladies or people with smaller hands. The first thing I noticed about this paddle was the gritty texture. That translates to better spin for me. It's nice and lightweight, and being thermoforming, it should have a long-lasting life. Besides getting excellent spin, I'm getting a lot of power. It's got a decent grip and has all around performed well for me. It comes with a nice basket weave cover, and it all comes very nicely packaged in such a way that makes it virtually impossible to damage. I’m very happy and satisfied with this paddle. It’s very lightweight compared to the previous two paddles I’ve owned from a different competitor brand. The grip is long enough if you need to add both hands for extra power. The paddle itself has a grip that will give you a really good spin for your serves. I own a lot of paddles and this one definitely puts one of the best spins on a ball that i have seen, if your looking to up your spin factor I would absolutely recommend this pickleball paddle, I am also really happy with the power and control I have with this paddle, the surface of the paddle has just the right amount of grit to connect with the ball and get those power shots, I also like the handle, it's thinner than some of my other paddles, but it does allow you to get a good firm grasp and it's actually pretty comfortable on the hand, this paddle also has a very low vibration to it, overall this is a well balanced paddle, I am super happy with the overall quality and performance of this pickleball paddle, definitely a good value for the price. ... show more

I am really getting into Pickleball and have purchased a few different paddles. I had the chance to get the Warping Point Grasp 16MM paddle and I’ll say it is a very nice paddle. The paddle came in the nicest packaging I’ve seen for a paddle. It was in a flat box with laser cut foam protecting the paddle. The paddle also comes with a slip cover made of a woven leather looking material. There is also a replacement grip wrap included. The first thing I noticed when I felt the paddle is that the design and lettering on the paddle is actually protruding; adding unwanted texture. At that time I wasn’t sure if it would affect the shot, but after using the paddle a couple of times, I can say it really does. It isn’t a make or break sort of thing, but I noticed at times when I wanted to put lots of spin on the ball, I didn’t get the results I normally do with my other paddles. This is a bit disappointing because it is so unnecessary to add this unwanted texture. The paddle is weighted nicely and as with most paddles, are made of carbon fiber making it nice and light. The grip is comfortable and the power behind the shots are great. The Warping Point Grasp paddle is a great middle of the line paddle. It provides lots of power and is comfortable to use. The included extra handle wrap and protective zipper covering are great accessories to prolong the life of the paddle. The protruding markings on the paddle is very disappointing and will truly affect how I play so I will likely play with a different paddle. I will give it a few more tries to see if maybe it’s a learning curve, but I really enjoy putting spin on the ball and if this paddle hinders that even a little, I will use a different paddle. ... show more
