My LO has between 3c-4a hair. Let me tell you. This is perfect. For one, I like how all the ingredients are truly natural. And 2, her hair is soft, defined, has a nice shine. The product smells nice. & babyyyyy, the GROWTH though!! My LO is 16 months, she won’t keep a bonnet on to save her life. She rolls around on the floor, by the end of the day she’s got her head looking crazy. And it’s still a soft mess. Works wonderful for a final product on my one year olds 4b hair. Other leave-in conditioners work better for combing through her hair on wash/shampoo days. However, this makes her hair look healthy, shiny, and non-frizzy so I will keep buying it for the purpose of styling her curls and especially for use on days when I do a quick refresh/water spray instead of full wash. The conditioner is moisturizing and keeps the hair nourished. It even attempts to hold the hair for some time. But the moisture is not retaining. It quickly dries out. So have to repeat it frequently. It is not sticky or gooey but have to wash hands after application. It has a strong scent that gives me a headache. My daughter has an extremely sensitive scalp and has mild eczema on her skin. It is important to find the right products for her that don’t cause irritation to her scalp, neck, and shoulders. I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on different products to find the right one and sadly I’ve wasted so much of it. I came across this product and after reading the ingredients decided to give it a try. I am soooooo happy I did! When I tell you a little goes a long way….. I purchased this 8oz bottle a year and a half ago and I am just now needing to repurchase ( my child is 2 and her hair doesn’t require much product). I usually use two dime sized amounts before styling and after washing her hair once a week and the smallest amount when needed to refresh throughout the week. I love that this product is made up of all natural ingredients and although it’s fragrance free the natural scent from it is slight and not overwhelming at all. She has never had a reaction to her scalp or skin using this product. I absolutely love it and recommend it for all kids, but especially the littles with sensitive scalp and skin. ... show more

My son's hair is easy to comb because of this product. Downside: if you use this product alone, the hair will look dry and frizzy in a few hours, but using this product with shea butter has given me the perfect result I want .. a shinny, soft and curly hair.

I don't write reviews but this product warrants one! I wish I could give it 6 stars. I have a Caucasian 3 month old with fine very curly hair and a lot of it. I was worried this product may be too much for her hair and leave it weighed down and oily, but it doesn't at all! I wanted to give it a try because it's all natural and sounded like the perfect product, and it is!!! I've only used as a wash out conditioner and a little dab will do ya! Her hair instantly felt super soft, even before I rinsed her hair I knew it was going to be amazing! It is also tear free. I tested on myself before using on my baby. Very little to no scent but what scent it does have is pleasant. I'm excited to try other Cara B products. Used the lotion for the first time tonight on my baby and so far I love it too!
