Works very well once you get the hang of it. It sticks more to the paint than it does to plastic so I would say just keep that in mind when installing. It’s pretty thick too so I’m confident that it will protect the paint. Overall very happy

Now I intially bought these for the interior door area so it would protect from being scratch with the bottom whoever’s dirty/rocky shoe. But it was a new/used vehicle and I didn’t notice some were already applied so it used it for the inner part of the door handle to match my door cup protector. They’re sticker than I thought they would be and using it in a small door handle area got me a bit frustrated! But I’m sure an easy open straight area would be nice and smooth with it. It’s smooth to the touch and thick, I actually just expecting thin tape that had good protection on one side but it’s more than that! So far it looks good on the handle area for me, and I’m sure they would be of good use on the door interior area for an easy quick cheap solution! ... show more

Have purchased other thin material similar that would not stay on good, the adhesive on this one makes it stick and ez to put on and reapply if you miss the fist time, worth the money if you care about protecting your kick plates on your car or truck as most passengers and fishing partners dont..
