I used this to cover the upper portion of my WRX tail lights, and it worked well. It has a protective film to squeegee and heat it before cutting it. I used a knifeless tape, and it came out beautifully. It has the air release texture and the roll had a very thick core so nothing was wrinkled, thankfully. I'd make sure to post-heat it like with all vinyl even if it doesn't have much curve to make sure it stays put! ... show more

    • Should have been easier to use than it was. User error. Steep learning curve.

Likely this is a newbie error, but this product should have been easier to use than it initially was. First of all I wasted the first 3 inches of the roll because there was scotch tape taping the open end to the rest of the roll and I thought it was "intended" to be cut off. Then when I smoothed out the film it looked "scratched" from my squeegie. I thought this was due to "delicate film" and started over, using just my hand to smooth this out. THEN..... I discovered that there is a clear protective film on top of the actual black film that is intended to be removed. Duh! the scotch tape was only affecting the clear protective film and the scratches I installed were only on the protective film. Wasted alot of this and now basically need another roll to finish the job. So this first roll was mostly for "practice" I guess. No where in the instructions does it say there is a protective clear film and no other vinyl I've worked with before has protective outer film on it. I like that the vinyl is thick and seems that it'll last a long time. I like that it has a peel off protective sheet on top of it to help protect the visible side during installation. Adhesion is from pressure and some heat and does a good job. It's not an easy vinyl for a first timer. The issue I have with it is the extreme Orange Peel. The picture I've attached is the smoothest part of the hood that was wrapped and it looks blurry. The photo is NOT blurry. Nor does it have a filter. It just has that much orange peel. From 20 ft away, it looks very nice and glossy. Up close... Poor quality. ... show more

I tried this wrap, as opposed to 3M and found it would not stick. The installation looked great till the sun warmed it then it raised at every corner. I have done more than a hundred wraps and have never seen this. A days work lost cause of bad wrap.

Used this to wrap the chrome trim around the windows on the exterior of my BMW. It looks great and completely transformed the look of my BMW. It does take some skill to do this, this was my first time doing wrap but was able to make it work. I was alittle iffy about how it would hold up in the weather. But it’s been about 4 months it’s rained, been over 100 degrees, windy all of that. And help up through it all so I do recommend this wrap and will be purchasing again for future projects. ... show more
