This enclosure is great!! Received it this morning and immediately wanted to get it in my vehicle. I have 3 10 inch Kicker Comp’s (43C104) powered by a Kicker CXA800.1 and boy does it pound! I have a good bit of windshield and rear window flexing, now! Front baffle is 1 inch thick and the rest of the enclosure appears to be 5/8 inch thick. Only issue is the mounting holes were 9 inches so I have to do some trimming and cut a 1/8 inch to accommodate for my subwoofers. Keep that in mind if your subwoofers have big/large baskets.     • With a little work this box is not so bad.

At first when setting up this box I was disappointed because of the thinner material than I thought it would be built with. While working on it why not add something extra to improve sound deadening? I used a small aerosol can of Flex Seal on the entire interior making sure to hit the seams and corners well. The end result is a better solid bass tone coming from this box now. UPDATE... Wow! After listening to my sealed enclosure subwoofer box I really like it. I would say luck found me on this stereo upgrade because as it turned out I installed my system into a 2006 Ford Expedition along with 4 Polk Audio 6 x 9 door speakers and the result is PERFECTION. This box is built well and has enough heft to stay in place. I saw no flaws when examining it and it is well sealed. Internal size was identical to what my single 12 inch sub recommended. While I'm sure someone extremely knowledgeable on car audio or competition level products offer could tell you everything wrong with this, for my use (which is not trying to rattle the parking lot with bass) it works perfectly. Great price and a great product,but you can tell it was put together quickly. The only thing I can say, is if you want it to be an air tight sealed enclosure,go back and seal the inside with some liquid nail or your choice of good sealant so it will be air tight,then let it dry for 12hrs then do the install. ... show more

Nice cheap clean has a nice back angle for my seats sits right behind snugly. 10/10 after mods i had to solder speaker wire to terminals not included and re glued all the edges because looks like very skimpy with wood glue woods kinda thin 5/8 i believe but perfect for a pare of 800rms max subs nothing over 1krms worked perfectly for my application would by again ... show more

It’s pretty affordable but you get what you’re paying for. It’s on the small side for a 12” box so the sound isn’t amazing but it still hits decent. The box quality is ok but it likes to slide around in the trunk. Overall it’s decent but not great.

This box is made from 5/8 inch mdf and not 3/4 mdf. However nowhere in the listing is that told to the buyer. Carpet is barely ok, had a few knicks, depends on your quality expectations really. The speaker terminals are great tho. There are a few gaps in the creases on the inside so I am gonna use silicone to fix those potential leaks. I think this box is definitely worth $45 based on what I received. Unfortunately I paid $60. Upon further investigation only the front baffle is 5/8. All other panels appear to be 1/2 inch or 3/8. No wonder the shpiping weight is 38 lbs. Any decent sub is gonna need 5/8 mdf on all panels to perform well. ... show more
