  • Good inexpensive light to medium duty bench
Color: Black
This bench was fairly simple to assemble taking approx. 30 minutes. It can be folded for storage or transport, however there will still be flappy bits so watch your doorways (and shins). As far as use goes, I'm about 200lbs and have loaded it with another 140 lbs in dumbells doing presses. The base is wide enough that I could do single chest flys without worrying too much about stability, and I've also used it is a step along with another person. The seat and back rest are slightly narrower than I would prefer, and seem to be ply covered in foam. The incline adjustments are adequate, and there is only one decline position. I would prefer one more both ways, but it's fine as it is. Once or twice, I've noticed... not a failure exactly, but a bit more flex than I'd like, or a small pop as some joint binds a bit. None of these have been overly concerning and have happened infrequently in over 3 months of daily use, but they are enough that I wouldn't recommend it for more than maybe 400 lbs combined. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it for $60. If you are benching twice your body weight, you should be looking at something else, but for most at home dumbell type things, it should be fine. ... show more

  • Great workout bench
Color: Black
Great bench for the price, but it's not super sturdy. It wobbles just a little bit. Otherwise, it's perfect for our home gym.

  • Solid bench, versatile, god value for the price
Color: Black
So, after reading a lot of reviews with about, I would say, 40/50 split negative/positive, I was reluctant to buy this bench. However, due to the limited choices due to the virus and my budget, since I spent a lot of money trying to built my garage gym... I did order it. So here is my review: *Super easy to put together with detailed instructions that specify even the number of the bolt you need. You will need a wrench to tight the bolts properly as it only comes with an Alan wrench. My 5 year old can provably do this... seriously stupid easy. Very lightweight, easy to move. So far very solid. I done chest, and shoulders, so I tried all the angles posible and the bench handle well, no shaking or anything. The decline angle for me is great in fact I use a deeper angle at the gym (Some reviews were complaining of being to steep). Any way, very happy with the bench with value vs. cost. It has been a while since I got it and many workouts later, I am still liking it and had no issues with it. ... show more

  • Good bench, but there's a mistake in the instructions - please read
Color: Black
Took me about 15 minutes to assemble, but would only take about 5-10 minutes if you've done it before and knew the steps. Like other reviewers have said, it's not as heavy, nor does it feel feel as sturdy as the $400 benches that you find at LA Fitness or any other commercial gym. But this is tested based on ASTM standards to hold up to 1000 lbs (but they recommend no more than 500 pounds). It has felt relatively sturdy for me so far, but I haven't tested it at those upper limits yet. If I have any issues with stability or durability, I will definitely update the review. I do want to comment about a mistake in the assembly instructions. On #7 of the instruction booklet assembly manual, they have the screw, washer, and nut going into the wrong hole. You can see this in the image attached. Strangely, on #6, which is the complete instruction diagram, they have it going into the correct hole. I'm not sure how this issue got past quality control. As far as I saw, this was the only mistake in the instruction booklet. ... show more

  • Needs more options on the incline, but still a pretty good bench for the money.
Color: Green
Not that easy to assemble, but fairly robust. I knocked off a star because the bench doesn't give you a lot of options on the incline (or as many as I'd like). Not that easy to assemble, you have to sort of figure it out a little for yourself.

  • Not completely flat.
Color: Black
Bench is good for it’s price but it can’t be adjusted to be completely flat. It sits at a decline.

  • Not the best, but to be expected for the price
Color: Yellow
I've been wanting a weight bench and when I came across this one for $60, I figured I'd give it a shot. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the mixed reviews, but figured it would (hopefully) work for what I needed it for. The instructions look daunting, considering it's just pictures with numbers, instead of written out. However, if you take a minute to orient yourself, they're relatively easy to follow (just be sure not to rip open the hardware package because they're labeled and if you rip it open and they scatter, you won't know what's what). It's definitely not the sturdiest or best bench, but it'll do. The seat of the bench is oddly large IMO, which I feel like affects the rest of it. Also, I don't like the decline option because this bench isn't made to where you can do sit ups without hurting your back. Overall, it isn't the best bench but it isn't the worst. It should still work just fine for leg drives, shoulder presses, etc. However, if you're wanting a sturdier bench that can comfortably decline, you may look for something a little higher quality. ... show more

  • Glad I got it on sale.
Color: Black
So, this bench will work for what I need (basic exercises with light to medium weight and some bodyweight exercises) for short term (1-2 years). It is an okay deal at $75, but would have sent it back for full price of $95. Quality control is sketchy. Instructions are wrong in some places so there is a little trial and error during assembly. As for the bench itself: 1.) there is some rust in areas 2.) pieces bent 3.) poor and unsquare welds 4.) bench isn't flat while in the flast position. 5.) Foot rest fits very loosely and wobbles around. I would be sure to keep it in one spot as it feels like moving it or mishandling could easily break something. Looks like 2-3 years of use might be the max. Wouldn't buy it again, it'll do for now. ... show more
