I got frustrated as no water was building up after a day or two inside the mechanism, so I just ripped open the absorbent beads and rub them into my carpet. Which caused some of them to roll underneath the seat and become multi. Do not do this. Just wait for it to fill up. The more the smell from the beds was horrendous. This product works as well, if not better, than the aforementioned product. The product design means you don't lose pieces through the screen on your moisture collecting container. I use 4 containers due to the fact that the room I rent has severe moisture issues. Without them everything in the room feels wet to the touch. I dislike that this product does not seem to do anything but sit there. It is a gimmick, the sent is not strong at all, it doesn't draw the moisture out of anything, and the balls just stick together at the top over time.

I use the mini dehumidifier in my truck camper. It does a good job absorbing the moisture; you can see it collect in the bottom of the container. I live in the desert which is normally dry, and left the dehumidifier in the camper all winter.
