These are super easy to use and appear to be sturdy and durable but I have only used them a few times, so time will tell but they look very promising.

    • Great idea, needs some work...
I really like these. They fit well, but the quality of the materials need to be more robust. Specifically, I use these to hold up a flat rope LED string. It actually fits very well in the clips, but the material of the clips tend to bend them. Simply put, they're not of high quality and not rigid enough. The clip portion tends to bend whichever you hang on them wants to go. I bought two sets to take advantage putting two together to hang more stuff, but I doubt these things can take the lightest of lights, flags, much less anything larger like a tarp or sunscreen. These work, but the lack of rigidness of this product greatly limited what you can hang from them. My recommendation is to use them for small string lights (read: Christmas-type lights) only. Anything heavier, such as an LED rope light that requires a rubber hose with the lights may simply not support it. ... show more

i have used these clips for years on camper awning. work great. the clips gently bend a little when i put up panels on the clips on awning. none have ever broke. they are meant to have some flexibility. i hang the side panels for EZ-up canopies on my awning sides and front. I bought 8 white panel sides from amazon.the clips hold only the panels on the front of canopy. side panels are tie wrapped to side arms of awning. panels have velcro loops that fit on awning clips easily and securely. would recommend these clips for awnings. ... show more

    • Easy to use and extend
We had a lot of fun stringing party lights from the canopy of our motor home using these hanger clips. They went on with ease, and were sturdy enough for holding both lights and a small flag. The only problem we encountered was when we had to take the canopy down quickly because of a wind storm. Sliding the clips out before we could roll up the canopy took quite a bit of time (all the while the wind whipping us), and we weren't comfy leaving them in place.     • Sturdy but didn't fit my RV well
I had to turn the awning rod more to get them into the slot without the arm in the way. Read the reviews about it and didn't even think it would be an issue. It worked .. but is a two person job.

    • Easy way to add lights to your RV awning
These awning clips are super simple to install and are sturdy. I used them to hang cafe lights from my trailer awning. Make sure to remove them when you retract your awning of course. On some newer electric awnings, you may Need to remove the housing from one end to be able to insert the clips.

Only complaint is that they don’t roll up into my awning so every time we pack up, they come off.

    • Rigid awning hanger clips
We ordered these clips to hang lights on our awning while camping. They came quickly, fit well. They are more rigid than I expected. So if you suspect it to be windy or just want to roll up the awning, these have to be removed before this can happen.
