Description

    • This works for pressure canning!
In our home we purchased a microwave was put in above the burners. This does not leave room for my pressure canner. I saw this burner recommended someplace and opted to take a chance. I also purchased a silicone mat (just to be safe) and put it under the burner. Once it gets up to temp and pressure it is hard (or I haven't figured it out yet) how to get the pressure to lower to the exact spot where it needs to be, so my pressure is a bit higher, but I haven't seen higher being a problem vs too low. You need to put something underneath this to not damage your counter. I put a cutting board under it in case, and it melted the board some. Other than that it works great for canning.

It’s just sooo pricey. That said, this is my second purchase because I had gotten a different company/unit which did not get to the heat I needed for my pressure cooker. I guess you get what you pay for!
