My cables came today material for cables does seem top notch. However it should be for what these Cable Kits run. What I did find very disappointing was the lack of attention to detail. Some cables had printing on them such as "PSU" or "PCI-E" where as the other end had nothing. Some cables had nothing at all. As to cable combs as you can see in the pictures more than half had no cable combs. There were no extra cable combs in the box so nothing I can do about that either. 24-pin ATX cable no combs, 8-pin EPS cable no combs, only one of the PCI-E cables had combs,. I don't mind paying top tier for a product but I expect to at least get what I am paying for and what is advertised. I would definitely not buy again. I have this feeling that CableMOD feels they can get away with it as it is such a small niche market. Can't believe the lack of attention to detail and professionalism. If you can I would recommend buying from someone else. As to my ratings "Ease of Install" is a 5 because I'm a Senior Engineer and I've been building boxes going back to when we had PCI and ISA slots on a board along with ATA 33 cables. Quality of Material is a 3. It would have been a 5 if they had stamped printing on all the terminations and the actual cable combs had been included. Value for money is a 2 because as I stated for this kind of money on cables you expect professionalism and attention to detail.     • Beautiful cables
I decided to splurge on my latest PC and get nice cables. I've heard of CableMod's quality before and I was not disappointed. These are beautiful cables and are very sturdy to the touch. They went into my Seasonic Titanium 850 with no problem and the built in combs are easy to use. Just go nice and slow so you don't confuse the cable types as the labeling is a bit hard to figure out. ... show more

This is the second system I have built with this brand. I love the way they work and is a very good product. This set did not have both 8 and 4 pin cpu cables.
