  • Light as a feather
Color: Tungsten Grey Size: X-Small/Small
This is very smartly engineered. I can load it up with all my gear and it doesn't feel heavy. I've gone on several hikes with this and was pleasantly surprised. The only issues are the main compartment is huge so you will want smaller pouches for small free items. My hips were a little tender a day after a hike from the hip belt. I would buy this again and will buy this brand if I need a larger/smaller backpack. ... show more

  • Absolutely beautiful pack
Color: Enchantment Purple Size: X-Small/Small
I loaded this pack up at 30 pounds and did not feel like I was carrying that large of a load. The waist strap is interesting as it is tight without tightening the waist belt…a little difficult to put the pack on because of this tight fit. Overall very good pack

  • Distributes weight perfectly!
Color: Tungsten Grey Size: Medium/Large
I love, love, LOVE this backpack! I previously bought the 50L in the same model, and I love that one as well. I'm planning to hike the AT in the spring, and I need the larger size to carry my camping gear plus my bear canister. I can pack everything I need into this bag, and it still feels like I'm carrying nothing. I purchased a ULA Circuit to hike across Europe in 2019. After 100 miles, it felt like I was carrying a ton of coal on my back. I met a man at an outfitter in Cahors, France, who introduced me to this Osprey Anti-Gravity bag. What a world of difference! He only had the men's model, which I bought anyway. This bag distributes weight so well that it feels like I'm hardly carrying anything. When we returned home, my husband inherited my bag and I bought the female model in the 50L size. I hike with it all the time, and I absolutely love it. I'm keeping the 50L for shorter hikes and am using the 65 for when I have to have all of my gear. The price has dropped $20 since I purchased mine, but it was still $75 cheaper than my local outfitters' price. I'm a happy camper! ... show more

  • Hip belt needs to be able to go a little smaller
Color: Enchantment Purple Size: X-Small/Small
I'm new to owning Osprey backpacks, and I love them so much. My experience is a resounding 5 stars in every area except for one: hip belt size. My hips measure 26" at the iliac crest, which means the XS size should fit me. In Osprey's sizing information guide on their website, they say you should have 3-6 inches of space between the two hip pads once you have tightened the straps. For me, even after fully adjusting the fit on the fly Velcro belt portion to as small as possible, I still have just 2.25" of gap between the two hip pads. It seems to work fine for me so far in my testing, but I do wonder what it might feel like to have a more appropriate fit, as the video specifically states that if there is too small a gap between those two hip belt pads then it will not distribute the weight properly. I feel that at this price range you really do expect all sizing to fit as the manufacturer states it will. It still kills me to take a star off for that though because oh my gosh you guys, this pack is a dream. When I put weight in it to test, my arms can be straining under the load, but the minutes it's on my back I'm skipping around the house like I'm weightless. I love it so much from the gorgeous purple color to the sturdy hip pockets to that incredible rainfly. You cannot go wrong with this pack. High quality oozes out of every zipper and adjustable option. It's the sort of thing you just know is going to last at least the next 20 years, but you also aren't sure you'll use it for that long because such an incredible company will have somehow managed to come out with even better options in that timeframe. I'd suggest Osprey consider an XXS size for folks like me. I'm in my 30's and naturally petite. Kid's packs aren't appropriate for me as I carry the weight of adult packs, but at 5'2" in height my torso barely fits the XS length and the hip belt too. More inclusivity! ... show more

  • The best backpack
Color: Enchantment Purple Size: X-Small/Small
Hands down the best backpack I have ever had. For reference, I am 5’5” and about 120lbs, lean/petite frame. This bag is fully customizable to fit me just right, where others have lacked. It’s breathable as well along the back and has plenty of storage. Osprey is absolutely one of my favorite companies as they continue to impress over and over with their functional equipment options. ... show more

  • large pack with a number of pouches
Color: Tungsten Grey Size: Medium/Large
The pack seems to angle right into the back of the head, while moving your head around it bumps the pack frequently. There is bottom access to the main compartment to put a sleeping bag. The bottom of the main compartment has a divider but you can access the very bottom from either side of divider. It comes with a rain fly that stores is in a zipper at the verry bottom. The main compartment has a spot for a water bladder and there is a whole at the top middle of the pack for the hose to route to the shoulder strap. ... show more

  • 65 liters of fury
Color: Enchantment Purple Size: X-Small/Small
What do you get when you cross a backpack with a trail? Generally, a hiker or two. This backpack is stellar for backpacking into the wilderness for an extended period of time. It has 65 liters of capacity, enough straps to adjust to your liking, a rain fly to keep your stuff dry, and comes in a very nice purple to give you a little flare while on the trail. The fit is perfect for the female body and the price is on par with Ospreys other bags. There are no downsides to this bag at the time. Will update if something comes up. ... show more
