    • Difficult to install
Although the box noted it was easy and quick to install, it took my husband quite a while to figure it out. The directions were just pictures, no words, so they were a little difficult to follow. The plastic also feels cheap. Once installed, the locks do work, but it was not as easy as expected.

    • Super easy to install, great aesthetics
I love that these don’t show nasty, ugly straps or attachments. You also don’t have to partially open it and stick your fingers into a narrow spot. It comes with an installation bracket that makes the locks super easy to apply. The only drawback is having to scurry across the kitchen to grab the magnet. My son was gone for the day while we prepared for a party so I was able to set all the cabinets to unlock for the day and then relock them when he got home. I actually like the ring magnet design because it helps keep you from losing the magnet since you can wear it like a ring. If you’re going to stick it to a piece of furniture or something, the other magnet designs may be a little more visually pleasing. Another cool advantage of these is that you can have mismatched sets and it doesn’t matter because no one can see the locks. I love these and would highly recommend them. ... show more

Our first set of anotheer brand was so hard to put on because it was all guessing the placement. This one actually comes with a guide for the top lock and the bigger attachments. Making it so much easier and quicker to put the locks on the drawers and dressers. Glad they fixed the issue of just guessing the placements. Love these!! I did quite a bit of research before deciding to purchase these and so glad I did! Very easy to install! My daughter bought some similar magnetic type but different brand, said they were difficult to align, so I was a little worried, but the tool they send with these makes them idiot proof. They only fit in the installation tool one way, so there is no way to mess it up! ... show more

Out of the box, I like how this cabinet lock is much more low-profile than others that I've used. However, that low profile came at a cost. The tip of the latch is much thinner than most that I've used and can get caught by the front of the lock when you close your cabinet door. Furthermore, if there is a considerate amount of gap between your cabinet door and the spot of your latch, then you will run into issues installing it. I had so much trouble installing it that I switched over to another brand and had no issues installing that one. Eventually, I only used this brand on my cabinets where there is minimal gap between the door and latch position. The magnet included in this product is one of the better ones that I've used. It's small yet strong and has a finger loop for easy use/carry. The adhesives are 3M but unfortunately there are no extra adhesives should any fail. ... show more

This kit is easy to install and adds safety and privacy to any cabinet or drawer without requiring drilling holes the way a lock would, and without hurting the appearance of your furniture.
