Connected it up, plugged in a 2T drive, and off to the races! It does take a few seconds to go into large folders, but very good response time with the remote. Device will not properly function with my Samsung SSD 4 TB, my 1 TB work fine on it but whenever my 4 TB in plugged in. The device just continues to restart or it won't detect all the files on drive.

It is not able to play image file and then video file in a row. That is very inconvenient. Probably, there is a bug, because during slideshow of photos, it unexpectedly returns to home page not completing a slideshow. There is no option to select type of slideshow - so it plays photos over and over again... It does not show video file info - resolution, codec. There is no speed up video playing, like x2, x3, ... It is disappointing. When you press 'forward' key, it moves very fast, so there is no possibility to jump 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds. That is very inconvenient. This device is great for trade shows or presentations where you do not want to have to leave a laptop unattended for video to play. Just move the presentation or the video onto a memory stick and that device will put it on the screen very easily.
