Description

Zinnias add bold, vibrant color to gardens. Our 'Cut & Come Again' mix is a popular Burpee pick, featuring mixed colors of our favorite double zinnia flower variety. Seed packet contains 175 flower seeds for planting. Long- stemmed flowers 2.5" across bloom in a blend of pink, bright red, yellow, salmon-orange, white and more hues. The more you cut, the more the live plants bloom, and they keep flowering from midsummer until frost. Heat-loving and very easy to grow in the home garden, zinnias are a summer delight - also great for cutting and displaying in fresh flower arrangements! The bright blooms attract beneficial pollinators, including bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Sow zinnia seeds outdoors 4 weeks after the average last frost date in your area, or indoor sow plant seeds 5-7 weeks before your outdoor planting date in spring using a Burpee seed starting kit. 100% GUARANTEED: Burpee offers the highest quality, non-GMO seeds hand-picked by expert horticulturalists for growing in the home garden. We treat each order with special care to ensure healthy seeds, plants and gardening supplies are packaged and shipped in excellent condition. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we aim to make it right!

Product Care Instructions: Keep plants well-watered during the growing season, especially during dry spells. Plants need about 1-2 inches of rain per week during the growing season. Use a rain gauge to check to see if you need to add water. It's best to water with a drip or trickle system that delivers water at low pressure at the soil level. If you water with overhead sprinklers, water early in the day so the foliage has time to dry off before evening, to minimize disease problems. Keep the soil moist but not saturated.

  • Definitely a Cut & Come Again Flower
Color: Cut & Come Again Size: 175 Seeds Pattern Name: Seeds
I planted these in the early Spring for my cut flower garden and these have outperformed the other flowers I have. The germination rate was lower than I expected for Burpee but the plants that did grow have multiple stems with many blooms. This variety is superior to the other Zinnia seed options on Amazon in terms of multiple flowers per plant that have lasted for several weeks. ... show more

  • Amazing, last year. Not this year.
Color: Cut & Come Again Size: 175 Seeds Pattern Name: Seeds
I planted these seeds indoors in late spring, hoping that I hadn't waited too late in the season. They sprouted within days, and grew to be a foot tall in no time. I'm putting them in the ground today. Wish me luck. If you want healthy seeds, shop here. That was my review last year. My zinnias turned out very good, so I ordered more this year. Out of 30, only 3 germinated. I have no idea why. I'm really disappointed. ... show more

  • Horrible quality! Do not buy!
Color: Tequila Lime Size: 50 Seeds Pattern Name: Seeds
I bought the Tequila Lime Zinnia 50 seed pack for a ludicrous price. I was expecting a good quality since I paid so much. But I was sorely disappointed. The seeds were completely destroyed! They were brittle dry and almost looked like they had been shredded. I've grown zinnias for years so I know what proper seeds look like. These were NOT! I'll be astonished if I get one sprout. I won't be buying from Burpee again after receiving this inferior/unusable product. I'll stick to Outside Pride for my future seed needs. Fellow customers, I highly advise you to save your money! Update: I was correct in my assessment. NOT ONE SINGLE SPROUT! Ridiculous.. ... show more

I enjoyed growing the zinnias. The blooms are gorgeous. I expected more flowers to grow from the amount of seeds I planted.

  • Pretty but tall
Color: Cut & Come Again Size: 175 Seeds Pattern Name: Seeds
Bought these because it looked like it was more "bush" like. The colors and flowers are gorgeous but they grow so tall and tend to lean over. I have them by my front entrance and they hit my face if it's windy. Then, we had a major storm and they are not covering the walkway, some not all the way on the ground so you had to walk around them. They never returned to upright so I had to cut them. ... show more
