This bungee cord is the best I’ve ever used. It is made well and is much stronger than other bungees. I use it for everything because it is so versatile. Other bungees break and are limited to a single purpose. This one allows me to use it in multiple ways to secure things of different shapes and sizes. The carrying case and clip are a nice touch and make it easy to store in my truck (no more tangled piles of stretched out bungee cords!). Well constructed from good materials, but not very versatile/elastic. Two ways to view it: -Spacing is too close for a bungee that barely stretches -Spacing is too far apart for the bungee to achieve not too loose/not too tight tie down scenarios in a single direction In my case, I was using it to secure things to a scooter. Basically the spacing/elasticity combination just isn't very functional and for the pricepoint, you could buy a dozen varied length bungees to achieve a better tie-down. ... show more

This is a nifty little bungee cord for tethering items, strapping/tying things down, holding light to medium cargo, etc. It's has the functionality of a typical bungee cord, but with additional features. The way the product is looped over to create a series of loops along the length adds versatility. You can hook additional straps off these loops, or wrap it around a cross bar/rack and back through itself on one end and use the included carabiner on the other end, or any other configuration you can think off. The cord wrap helps store these while not in use, but is strong enough to hold one loop to another loop to allow easy adjustments to your tie down needs. These are great for cargo, tethering things to hold against the wind, tying down tarps and covers, etc, etc. I like the molded fabric zipper case for storing this while not in use, it keeps the cord from tangling up in the rest of your gear, though it can be a little difficult to fold the cord just such to fit it back in the case. This is cord is pretty strong, comparable in strength to a run-of-the-mill rubber bungee cord, making it okay for interior cargo, and light exterior tie down needs. I suggest using their thicker version for heavier cargo tie down needs. These are very multi-use, faster to use than a typical ratchet strap, and these won't damage your vehicle's paint the way a ratchet strap can. If you are considering this cord to replace your ratchet strap needs, definitely consider the thicker version, as it will offer greater strength and holding power. ... show more

    • Versatile tie-down bungee
I am really impressed with how well made is this bungee cord. It’s like a “super-bungee”. It appears strong and really well thought out with multiple sections providing multiple attachment points. Near each end is secured an eight inch long, one inch wide industrial strength hook and loop strap. This can be used to form a loop in the end of the bungee cord. These straps appear to be REALLY strong. The set includes one bungee, one carabiner, and a sturdy case to keep everything together. Attached to the bungee are the hook and loop straps mentioned above and some rigid pieces that divide the bungee into different sections so you can shape the bungee as needed to fasten odd shaped objects. One thing I will point out is that you will probably need more than the single carabiner that comes in the set. With all the attachment points, carabiners will be the best way to secure them although you might get away with zip ties in some situations where there isn’t a tremendous stress on the point. There are two hard things about this bungee. First, figuring out all the ways to use it, and second, getting it back in the case. I hope you have a good imagination because that will be the only thing limiting the use of this product. This is going to come in REALLY handy holding stuff in place in the back of my SUV. There are 2 tie downs in the back and I will fasten the ends of this bungee to those attachments and arrange the rest to fit the shape of whatever it is I don’t want sliding around. The rope felt much more capable than I expected. It takes a good bit of effort to stretch it at all. The instructions say not to stretch beyond 50% of its length; so I tried testing up to but not exceeding this limit. The rope quickly failed at one of the ends where it joins together. I've reached out to the Manufacturer for warranty and will see if/how they respond (email sent 12/1/23). The way this rope works it's still quite usable in this state, just a little shorter since the last loop on one end is no longer a loop, but I can just use the next loop over. I could be wrong but it appears that the one end that failed is the only place this would happen, all the other reinforced points contain continuous rope, so they shouldn't just pop out. I think a better design would have been to have had the loose end terminate on the second to last binding point instead of the last and it would have been just fine. This is not my childhood bungie. I grew up with the belief that you couldn't trust bungies; they were prone to breakage and also dangerous because of propensity to lose grip with the old wire hooks, snap back and cause eye injuries. This is an entirely different product than the bungies of old. They are thick. The stretch gets distributed along the cord so I don't think they will break where they go around corners. The Velcro hardware means no rust, no bending wire, no eye injuries. Very versatile especially when used with carabiners. I will use this outdoors, so my only question is how they will hold up to UV light exposure. ... show more
