Does give my hair the beach wave I love…but don’t spray near the roots..as the oil can leave your roots looking a bit dirty! Besides that, great product..little bit goes a long way.

This product is much better than Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. My sister has wavy hair and this spray gives her locks that beachy, wavy look by just scrunching her hair after spraying the product. I, on the other hand, have very straight hair. I use this too to give my hair the beach look. I twist clumps of my hair and use a hot iron to give the curl. The spray helps hold in the waves and works great. Yes there is oil in this as stated in the name, but it doesn't give my hair any greasy feel. The scent is light and very pleasant. Although this is a very small bottle, it is worth the price. Very few products are able to put a wave in my straight hair. Get it on Amazon while you can.     • Does not live up to price/hype in dry climate.
I tried this product back east last summer at a friends and really liked it. Beachy hair with a nice shine was the result. I live in Tucson Az -late fall through Spring and I bought the product based on my previous experience. Although I feel the product is very expensive, I had liked the results enough to treat myself to this purchase. Unfortunately, the results in the dry climate of Arizona are not the same as the results you get on the east cost. The waves looked OK when first sprayed but quickly fell out an hour later. Also my hair looked dry and dull, instead of the healthy sheen you are supposed to get, making this an expensive mistake. Also my hair has a natural wave so I was not starting with poker straight hair. I actually got slightly better results out here with a diy mixture of distilled water, epson salts and argon oil put in a small sprayer. I would not buy it again and will use my DIY mixture. ... show more

    • Great for soft, natural looking curls
I have fine, frizzy hair that has some natural curl/waves to it. The Surf Infusion helps keep the fizz to a minimum and helps amplify the curl. I've tried lots of various products over the last 30 years and by far this is one of my favorites. I have also tried the Surf Foam Spray and did not like it - it seemed to give my hair a super dry crunchy texture, rather than the soft texture the Surf Infusion gives. I've also tried the Bb. Don't Blow It creme and its okay but not as good as the Surf Infusion (at least in my opinion where my hair is concerned). ... show more

LOVE!!! perfect if you’re trying to i stay away from heat. i have naturally super thin, straight hair & it adds natural beach looking waves in it. can dry your hair out so i use a leave in conditioner after wash & condition. spray in while wet & scrunch up. adds volume & hold even after you curl with an iron. ... show more

    • Strong fragrance and not enough texture or hold.
This product did not provide the amount of texture and hold I was hoping for and it made my hair appear a bit oily. My hair is thick but individually the strands are fine, it's naturally wavy, soft and blonde. Maybe it works better on hair that is more coarse? Also, and this would have been a deal breaker even if the product worked, it is highly perfumed. It smells very similar to the 90s CK fragrance, Escape, which was supposed to evoke memories of the beach. It was just way too much for me. It took the place of the perfume that I prefer to wear.
