These velvet blackout curtains are fabulous and beautiful and they are exactly what I wanted and have been looking for! They match my vintage furniture perfectly and I just love LOVE love them! They are berfect for blocking out the sun and the heat from the sun and they will be perfect in the winter too because they will help to prevent the cold winter air from seeping in and will help to keep the heat from the furnace inside the house. These curtains are very well made and will last for many, many years to come. This set of two curtain panels are just as advertised. They are truly blackout curtains and immediately block the heat of the sun coming through the window. They measure 52 inches in width and 65 inches in height. This pair of curtains are a beautiful sage/seafoam green on top of a lovely light cream color on the bottom. They have a luxurious feel of velvet. There is a separate sewn on silvery colored material on the back that provides the blackout feature and heat reducing feature. Care instructions are sewn directly onto the curtain panels. They are made of 100% polyester velvet on the front and 100% polyester full blackout on the back. For once, I actually get exactly what I expected! The item listing gives plenty enough info to go on (what the back side looks like, the grommets, the color and details all match the images well) and there were no surprises when I received it. The packaging is like what you'd find on store shelves - a nice, reusable plastic bag with zipper for later storage. I can never get fabrics to fit back into those, though. I often see claims of "100% full blackout" on curtains that still let light through. No such issues here - even pressing a phone's flashlight against the back, no light comes through. And that material! Not only does it look nice, with a pleasant velvety shine to it, it also feels soft! If it weren't for the somewhat harsher backing, these would feel right at home on the bed as oversized blankets. They look super sharp with the dual-tone color I chose, as well. ... show more

These are quality curtian panels. I'm happy there's two in this bundle as a lot of curtain panels are sold individually. They're thick and soft. They feel velvety soft at the top and silky at the bottom. The gold is more of a dark Mustard color rather than a true gold, but I have no regrets. The grommets at the top are strong and supportive. They darken my bedroom so well. We have a dusk to dawn light right outside the window so we need good room darkening curtains. They don't wrinkle easily. They have some heavy weight to them as good thick curtains should. Everything about these say top quality! Well worth the money. ... show more

They look pretty in the photo…but then in real life you see the weird choice in craftsmanship. Where the fabrics meet they layered the white on top of the black, which creates a weird shadow line because the white panel is not lined so the light comes through. Then there’s the stitching…the entire white panel is stitched with black thread. Why would you do that? Very weird craftsmanship which makes them look very cheap diy ... show more
