It’s slightly heavier than a regular Buff gaiter, but not by much. The interior is a lightweight brushed material. This gator is perfect. I had a couple of conversations with Buff before purchasing. The ThermoNet is a little thicker than the EcoStretch and CoolNet, which is what I wanted. And it is the only one with finished ends. The actual dimensions are 19" x 9.5", not the 9" x 8" (that is the card dimensions it came on) that the item description said. So don't let that fool you. It also has 4-way stretch. Will be using it on my walks in cold weather. UPDATE: Wore this first time on walk with cold breeze. It kept my hears head, and neck war, and definitely absorbed the sweat. Would highly recommend UPDATE UPDATE: Used this on a trip to Ireland where we got wind up to 60 mph in 52 degree weather, and it was perfect And boy does it wich sweat away. I keep mine in my work truck and use it often to prevent sun burn on my head and neck, as well as to filter out allergans in the Spring. Works like a charm.     • Fits great, not too tight or too hot, but fabric starting to bead after washing
Love this. I don't overheat when I sweat. My old one was too tight around the neck, this one is stretchy enough. I've had a 5 months and the fabric is starting to bead after 2 washes. I don't like that there is a line where the seam is, means I have to check a mirror to see where it is when I put it on (it looks awkward to have a line up your forehead). ... show more
