I normally don't order plants online after having a few bad experiences but I've been wanting a Ginseng Bonsai for awhile now. So I took a chance and ordered this one, it was a great description of the plant and I liked what I had seen and the price wasn't bad either! When my Ginseng Ficus tree arrived, the idiot delivery guy brought it at night and without a notification my poor plant sat outside my door overnight! Thankfully here in Pennsylvania it wasn't too cold yet, but in the morning when I found it, it was cold. I quickly brought it inside and sat it by my oven which was warm from my baking. The plant sat there all day and by night it seemed fine. It was wrapped securely around the base with Saran Wrap to keep the soil in the small nursery pot,it was wet but not soggy for the trip to me. The plant hadn't been harmed by the cold because the box also had some stuffing inside to keep the plant from bumping around... I was so impressed by the quality and care given to the plant for its shipping, that I just ordered another one as a Christmas gift for a friend! Needless to say I'm very happy with this purchase, see my tree in the photo, it's been transplanted into a new pot by me and he is so handsome! I wasn't quite sure what I would get ordering a plant on line. I got a gem! This is so cute. It has these funky little bulbous roots on it that I hope to train onto a rock or chunk of tree later. Right now it's sitting under a plant lamp doing very well so far. It was wrapped perfectly. It says that up to 20% of the leaves could fall off, that is normal. So far I've only lost a couple. I also see several brand new leafs on the tops of the stems. SWEET!!! I'm going to keep it in it's pot for a couple months and let it get used to it's new environment. Then I'll see if I can make it even cuter. I will buy from this seller again. ... show more

This plant arrived with another plant from a different Nursery. This one was beautifully packed to protect it from the cold. The one I ordered at the same time arrived dead............it had no packing the dirt and plant were out of the pot. its frozen and dead.

I do not have a green thumb but the last several years I have become better with plants & flowers. Nothing to brag about but I do try and again, I have plants now for the last several years and am keeping them alive. There is a "science" to them so to speak.
