  • Effective, not messy
Color: Amaranthine
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a simple travel bidet and wasn't sure what to buy. Most people seemed to either like this or hospital style peri-wash bottles, so I bought both. This travel bidet is MUCH better than peri-wash bottles. Don't worry about the comments saying it's messy - you just have to wait to turn it upside down until the nozzle's already between your legs. I made a short video to demonstrate, so you won't have to wonder like I did. The "air hole" - a check valve on the bottom of the bottle that allows air in, but does not allow air or water out - is frankly unnecessary; the idea is that more air can enter the bottle while water leaves it when you squeeze. If you don't have an *extremely* arthritic grip this isn't likely to be a problem. I'm probably going to just super-glue the one in my bottle shut at some point. ... show more

  • to get a good cleansing stream
Color: Amaranthine
This is a big deal for me. I'm 70 and this solves a messy problem. It's intuitive to find the right placement for use - don't bother with blocking the air hole on the bottom of the squeeze bottle. Squeeze the bottle hard, to get a good cleansing stream. I am clean with so little effort. That feels very good, and, for some of us, that is a major blessing. Maybe I should be embarrassed to write this, but this may be for someone else, what it is for me. I stumbled across this product as I was looking for something else - thankful I did. ... show more

  • Wipe more than thrice? Buy this, my advice!
Color: Amaranthine
As a long-time home user of toilet-affixed bidets, I constantly found myself missing my alternate cleaning solution whenever I left the house. After a six day vacation with no bidet at all, the decision to buy a travel bidet became more a necessity than a distant consideration. I browsed the countless options on Amazon, all of which looked almost identical and cost almost the same. Chances are that they are all almost identical as well. I decided on this bidet just because more people had purchased it than others, so I figured the reviews would be a more accurate depiction of the device. Using the bidet takes a little getting used to. I have found that I have to do about two good sprays to get clean properly, though the bottle can probably do three or four good sprays before running out. The bottle does tend to get a bit of water on the seat from the air intake valve, though it isn't really that big of a deal. The only thing that the manufacturer really should have done is to include a standard cap for the bottle so you can fill it up and store it in the bag safely. As it is, the bidet needs to be filled up before each use unless you want to risk spilling water in the included pouch. Either way, I'm very glad to have a portable bidet, as it saves me considerable time, effort, and sometimes pain in getting clean! ... show more

  • A clean bottom is a happy bottom!
Color: Amaranthine
My husband and I simply cannot travel without! We go to a remote location in Central America for a yearly surf trip. Toilet paper simply cannot Ben flushed. Which means? You wipe your bottom after a poo and the waste goes in a wastebasket beside the toilet. Normal for sure. However, no one wants to smell poo until the trash is taken out and also, what likes organic matter? Ants! And not the small ones! However, we brought our handy travel bidet! Squirt yourself clean, pat dry, place toilet tissue in trash - boom! Clean TP. Clean bottom. No poo smell. No ants. And who doesn't prefer a clean bottom? We love this so much we bought one to take to work and another to leave in our travel bag so it is never forgotten on a trip! ... show more

  • TMI...! lol...
Color: Amaranthine
I bought the Bio Bidet alongside the Brondell GoSpa and like the Brondell better but wish for improvements with both. The Bio-Bidet gives about 3" more reach and pre-angles the outflow at 50-60° compared to a straight 90° with the Brondell. The Bio Bidet outflow head also sticks up from the extension tube about 1.5" making navigation a bit more difficult while the Brondell outflow is built into the extension tube and is intuitively easier to use. I suspect that the Bio Bidet might have been designed to work better from the front than the rear and consequently more suited to women - clearances and obstructions, etc. The Bio Bidet with the angled head and longer reach is more cumbersome and harder to aim from the back. THE BIGGEST DETRIMENT IN COMPARISON however, is the quantity of water that comes out with each squeeze of the reservoir. The Bio Bidet seems to have about twice the outflow at each squeeze and therefore uses its water supply very quickly and with few squeezes - no second chances for any mis-aimed shots! With the volume of water it also has a tendency to over-splash at bit. The spray is more diffuse (softer) than the Brondell though neither is uncomfortable and I did prefer the Brondell spray pattern. A plus for the Bio-Bidet is that the extension tube slides directly into the reservoir (and then directly into carry bag) similar to pulling the nozzle in/out of a plastic gas can. On the Brondell you must unscrew into two pieces to fit into carry bag - It is DISAPPOINTING that Brondell does not include an additional watertight "cap" since their design automatically needs the extension tube removed for storage. Head to head I would give the Brondell 3/4 star more overall (e.g. 3.75 star) but not a full star - (had they included a watertight cap I would think hard about 5 stars) but even so, side by side for my purposes I would buy/re-buy the Brondell GoSpa. THE BIGGEST ISSUE SHARED BY BOTH is that neither can be "pre-filled" and then carried with you - neither is even close to water tight when in carry bag and for this reason alone investigating the more expensive battery operated Toto Travel Washlet (or other brand) may be of more interest. This product works but its most ideal setting will be in the home or hotel private bathroom. ... show more
