I really wanted to like this product more, but it's just okay for me. It works, but I've learned that a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it makes your hair stiff. I also wish it had a nicer scent. Overall, I don't think the result justifies the price.

I'm Hispanic in my 50s and I give this a 9 as have to wear with the cream. It's light to help with styling. You can apply wet or dry, which I like. Perfect with the cream, same brand. Buying it again!

I really like this gel. I also liked that I didn't have to use a bunch of product to get great curls and volume. I sectioned my hair and applied a dime sized of the TGIN leave in conditioner and a dime sized of gel in each section. Then I just let it air dry. Now it does create a cast but just scrunch out the cast and you'll have shiny bouncy curls. The gel also does not have a strong scent so that's plus for me. I have wavy to curly hair depending on how I style it. I bought this product based on a recommendation from Mel. I've had it a while, but just used it for the first time last week. We had some drier weather and my hair needed more moisture. While my hair was wet, I put a small amount onto my hair and clumped it. I gave fine hair, but this product did not weigh my hair down. My hair was beautifully moisturized and shiny. The curls clumped together well and my hair stayed that way for 2 days. I layered it as instructed with the Briogeo curl cream. When the product dried, I was left with a white cast that broke down into a white powder on my dark hair. It was a no-wash day for me, so the next morning I used a water bottle to dampen my hair and revive my curls. The water caused the product to rehydrate, leaving me with tiny white goop balls in my hair and brush. This product is not worth the money or the hassle.
