Description

Extend the recording time of all the Brinno time lapse camera (TLC) family of cameras by a factor of four with the Ath2000, brinno construction power housing. With an IPX5 weather protection rating, the Ath2000 is a weather resistant housing that protects the camera from inclement weather and dirty or dusty environments. It connects easily with devices outside the housing. It even has a lens extension cover allowing for the use of BSC lenses for close up videos. The Ath2000 comes with an adjustable mounting adapter allowing any of the Brinno TLC cameras to fit in firmly, thereby adding a level of flexibility not seen in brinno housings before. The TLC200 Pro, the TLC200, the TLC120, the TLC130 and the TLC2000 are all supported. The Ath2000 will hold up to 16 additional AA batteries, thereby extending the battery life by a factor of four. Up to a Year of construction can be recorded safely, without the camera being moved. The Ath2000 construction power housing comes complete with the extension lens cover, the 16 slot battery module with power cable, the adjustable camera mounting adapter, a Micro USB type C adapter, a screwdriver, two bungee cords and desiccant. It even has eyelets for padlocks or other security devices to keep it secure on the job site.

  • Loss of clear images, camera stopped working
I purchased this all weather case to record the construction of my new house. The lens area on the case infringed on the lens of the camera creating a smudged round result. After 3 or 4 days the camera stopped working. I have taken the camera out of the case and unplugged the batteries and reinstalled the camera without the case. Now it works properly. I had hoped the case with its batteries would have enabled me to continue the video uninterrupted for some time, but that's not working. ... show more

  • Not Quite Set and Forget
There seem to be several subtle things not mentioned in the very limited manual. It took a lot of trial and error to find the gotchas. Once I worked through the issues, the camera performs well.
