I have read so many reviews and wanted to know a few key things-- so here it is on topics of: pain and can it do Brazilian. (I have only had it a week so cannot comment on efficacy yet, but by reading all the reviews, it seems like it works great for some people fast, great for some people slowly, and others, it just doesn't do great. Some ppl seem to give up if it does not work after 4 weeks, or if it shows reduction but not complete removal--go longer!!) [One month update below] So pain, for me: It does not hurt very much. I am using it on under arms which have little hair left post laser about 5 years ago. Also for every part of bikini/brazilian locations, it is mild discomfort, and fast. For me the sensation is like when you open a really hot oven and the air hits you, it is a hot hot air feeling in a small concentrated spot. There is a *slight* sting sensation where the follicles are, but it is hard to really tell what is going on. It lasts so briefly that it is not bad. I think that the more discomfort I get is from where the hair is longer, I think the long hair kind of burns up and gets hot and touches the skin. Sometimes where skin pigment is darker the sensor does not want to flash, but repositioning it will eventually figure it out. Skin pigment difference matter if you are interested in brazilian locations. Deeper skin tones down there may not flash. It is MUCH MUCH less painful than salon laser. I had a really hard time with salon laser pain on legs, underarms and just basic inner thigh type bikini line. This is worlds better. I do not have to steel myself for this, it is not stressful. My legs have very little hair left so going over them is pain free and fast. My skin is not that sensitive to this device, and if I go over a spot twice there is no after effect or burn. I try not to just in case it sensitizes over time. The most awkward part for me has been contorting to get the sensor flat on the skin, especially for bikini. I recommend getting a pari of dark sunglasses and wearing them while you use it. Gas station/supermarket wrap arounds with black lenses were what I bought. The light is super bright, and comes through closed eye lids. If you get migraines it may trigger one bc the light is super bright, and the rhythmic flashing may just bother you. If you have sensitive eyes to bright light, wear dark glasses. I wear them and turn away, or just put a hand over my eyes if it is not a lot of contortion to hold the device and press the button. One month update: I love this device. I use it more than once a week, I am impatient and have zero effects on my skin after using, no damage or burning. I do not rec doing this, just what I did. Progress with Brazilian areas has been going well. One month+ in and I now have experienced hairs falling out in parts of the brazilian area, leaving entirely hairless smooth areas behind. I have never had this level of hairlessness even with waxing years ago. Not all areas respond the same. Some still have clear regrowth with stubble typical of post shaving. I think i am a strong responder, and I was to laser as well. Underarms have no regrowth a month in, for the few hairs that were left post laser 5 years ago. Legs same. I randomly run it over thighs and have less hair, which was sparse post laser to begin with, plus I am older and have less hair than when young. I no longer feel as strong a need to wear sunglasses, and doing it in a bright room in day both helps me see all the hairs, and also lessens contrast so the light flash is less strong feeling. I feel zero apprehension doing this in brazilian area, minimal pain if there is a close shave. The razor that came with it is ridiculously good, and I ordered more blades. The main issue with Brazilian locations is contorting to angle the device to get all the spots. I get a little lazy and focus on easier spots. I highly recommend this to people with the right skin/hair contrast to work (see chart for hair/skin shades). I find it faster than laser, bc you don't need to wait many weeks between. It remains way less painful than laser, which was very painful for me. I feel like a salesperson for the device, it is so cool!!! ... show more

M(33). I was getting so sick of shaving, especially since I like to keep my whole body hairless. Have been consistently using this once a week for the past 4 weeks. On week 3, I started really noticing my leg, stomach hair almost completely gone. By week 4, many of the hair follicles in my privates (front and back) are now no longer producing hair, and the ones that are grow super slow and are wispy. I've turned the intensity up on the device to level 3 during the past two times, while also going over areas 2 or 3 times to make sure I'm not missing a spot. Based on the results so far, I would imagine it's only a matter of time until the hair follicles completely stop producing hair entirely and my skin will be buttery smooth. I was skeptical based on the reviews being mixed with good and bad but I’m so happy I bought it. After having my twins and being on birth control, I turned into a hairy beast. I was literally plucking my chin everyday with new growth. I am very fair skinned and have dark course hair. TIMEFRAME: I used this more often than instructed and did it anytime I had to shave my chin which was about every 3 days or so. I started to see a difference after 3 weeks. I also only did one armpit to compare and it was definitely a difference by week 3. Even though it wasn’t completely gone, the growth was so much slower. I have no doubts my hair will be gone by week 12 PAIN: I use this on the highest setting. It doesn’t really hurt on my face and I get a little red after going over a spot a few times. I do have a scar on my chin and it does sting a little when it’s directly on it. HOWEVER, my armpit is another story. It hurts and I usually try to push through it but I finally decided to lower it on the second setting and it’s much more doable. The rest of my body I can do it on the highest setting as well. TIME: this doesn’t take my long at all. I start with my face and that takes me about a minute. I move on to my arms and that’s about 3 minutes tops and my armpits take longer because I become a big baby. PRODUCT/QUALITY: y’all this stuff is good. Doesn’t feel cheap and it well worth the money. It comes with a lovely storage bag and the packaging is nice. You get two different heads. I use the smaller one on my face and the larger one for my armpits (mostly because I want to get it over with). You get a nice Gillette razor which I have yet to use since I use my own. I bought this for my daughter a few years ago. She was afraid to use it so I thought I'd try it out. It is the best thing ever. I used it weekly for the first 12-weeks as suggested. I started to notice a difference after 4-weeks. The hair was growing in slower. After 12-weeks, there was no more hair. Now I just use it monthly for touch-ups. I use it for my armpits and bikini area. I haven't had to shave my armpits for over a year now. It is so nice. I have light skin with light brown hair. I gave up on my legs because it took too long. In the initial use, the flashes are quick. After using it for a bit the flashes slow down and it gets a bit warm. That is why I start with the more delicate areas first. The shape of it is a bit challenging. Hard to get certain areas while fighting the cord and having to push the button at the same time. The most frustrating part is when it won't flash because it is reading red. I can use it in one area and it works, I move an inch over and it reads red and won't emit the light when it should in that area per description. It would be nice if you could control the intensity and the light. Well worth the money though. Extra nice doing it in the privacy of my own home as well. I will have to buy my daughter her own.
