Took a while for this to arrive. I bought this for my husband, who can't time pasta to save himself. I'm Sicilian, properly cooked pasta is essential. You drop 'Guido,' I've named him, in a pot from the start and at about 9 minutes, music plays and yes, changes the longer in the pot. The Godfather theme is just a crack up. Yes, its accurate too. All you do is pour Guido out with the water in a strainer, (do not try to lift it out, too hot) rinse it off afterwards. The price is a bit steep but was worth it to get a laugh.     • Cute little gizmo.
Very impressive. Seems too easy to work, but it does. Kept trying to submerge it under water but it keeps floating to the top; half submerged. Not sure of its durability, cuz it’s cheap plastic. The music is low. You really have to be listening for it.

What a silly idea, but it works. The first one I ordered was very quiet and you could barely hear it. Some other reviews mentioned this problem. I returned and got another one that sings loudly. By sing, it's a song like one of those flat gadgets in a greeting card, not actual singing but it's still so silly that it is great. ... show more

    • I really wanted this to work.
The first one I bought was cracked and broken. The second one didn't sing. Very disappointed.

    • Inacurate Description
The product is fine for a timer and is a nice stocking stuffer. However there is not any singing. There are musical sounds that are like whistling and they are very faint.
