I have a single car garage with a low ceiling, this is just what I needed to store my paddleboard. The rack is easy to install, only take minutes. Just need to locate the studs predrill and then a couple of screws later it is installed ready for use. Does what it's meant to do. However, if you have a soft-top surfboard, you will need to add foam padding to the arms. These left indents in my board. I'm sure even with a couple pieces of pipe insulation, I would still get indents, just not as pronounced.
