I got this for walking my dog in the dark evenings. It is really nice to have the music and light in the hat rather than also layering on a headlamp and ear phones. I do think its important to know the light is not really bright. If you are wanting it to really light up the path then I would not recommend this. For the price of this item I think it is a great product! I use it for work almost everyday, working in a factory it can be very loud however, I can still hear my music with this hat. The ability to remove the speakers and light are amazing as well! It really makes washing it easy.

Didn’t know how much I’d love this hat till I got it. First, the LED light on it is super bright. You can’t stand in front of it with it turned on and look at it without it blinding you. Translation: when using it to run at night (or do anything for that matter) you can see a good 5-7 feet in front of you. I’ve used this to work on my vehicle at night, run trails before the sun came up, and basically do chores outside after the sun went down. The light pops out of the hat and plugs into a USB port to charge. Second, the Bluetooth speakers are surprisingly good. They aren’t going to blow your mind if you’re an audiophile, but I found myself pleasantly surprised with the sound. They definitely beat messing around with earbuds (which always pop out on me during a run). They synced really fast with the Bluetooth on my IPhone X Max and held a solid connection even from being about 20 feet away from my phone. The Bluetooth insert charges with a separate USB cord (provided). Don’t know what the battery life is supposed to be like on this hat but I’ve gotten about 2 hours out of the speakers and the LED light without any issues. And lastly, the hat keeps your head warm on top of its electronic capabilities. I like this hat so much that I bought 4 more of different colors.
