Size: Queen Style: 16 Inch Pattern Name: Black Bed Frame
Came on time and as described. My 15 year old grandson put this together for me in about 20 minutes. The hardest part was balancing parts while securing two pieces. He got assistance from little brothers and it went smoothly. It was light enough for us to turn on it's side while we brought it through the bedroom door fully assembled, and set it on the floor without issue. Sturdy after a few months use, I can't find fault with it at all! For me, I found that without the need of a boxspring the mattress just sits upon the bars -which is fine and hasn't been any trouble except tucked in sheets make fall and or hang down which -to me- looks untidy. My solution was to purchase a simple sheet of masonite, cut it to size, and secure it to the bars with "AlienTape". I put a large piece of bubble shelf liner between the masonite and the mattress (in the center) to keep it from sliding, which has been fine. The height of the frame along with a new mattress is high, but not too high to get into. I am 5'4" and have arthritis and I can still manage. If you have physical issues getting in a higher bed or if you are a bit shorter you may want a lower height on the legs for safety. The amount of storage under the bed is enormous! As my 12 year old grandson said "We could camp under here!" My original intent was to place large baskets underneath, but I like the look of it without anything under the bed, and it's much easier to keep the floor clean! BOTTOM LINE: A great value for a simple design, easily assembled, with PLENTY of storage! ... show more

the only hard part of assembly was finding all the right pieces, i think i opened it upside down. but aside from that, it was super simple and easy to do all on my own, took about 30 minutes, everything felt very solid and went together easily. there's sticky tape you're supposed to use, which seems like a really bad idea to me, i just left the cover thing on and ignored it. the mattress hasn't slid around at all, but it could be because i have it in a corner. i love the height off the ground, i can fit tons of storage under it. DON'T USE A BOX SPRING! maybe i'm just dumb but i put a box spring under the mattress and it's way too tall. ... show more
