It's easy to install and backup camera is easy to see. Sound is clear but not very loud. Touch screen is not very responsive and I have to touch it more than once to do what I wanted to do. Because of that I use the buttons most of the time. Bluetooth don't work properly as I had to pair it 3 times now and it don't work after I turn of the car. I kept it because it don't have a shiny screen and lights and because I didn't want to take my dash apart again. ... show more

Purchased in sept, but did not install until June the next year. Kept indoors in safe environment until installed. Quality of sound is terrible. Installed high end speakers, sub and amp but it did not help. The factory radio sounded better than this does. After about 5 months of use the radio started to turn up and down randomly. Now after about 7 months it just suddenly shut off and will not turn back on. Hooked up another stereo to existing wiring system and it plays perfect. This stereo is so light weight with cheap parts....you get what you pay for, though this one is not even worth the low budget cost. ... show more

First, when you're reading reviews for car audio you have to understand that most of the 1 star reviews are because of poor installation. Stereos are easy to produce and it's actually pretty rare to get a bad unit. Amazed at what this thing can do for the price. I opted for one from the Amazon warehouse deals and for under $50, I couldn't ask for more. It came with all the factory accessories just as it would have new. It was missing a piece of foam and the remote does not work. Radio stations come in better than the old Panasonic that this replaced. It has a ton of power and sound quality is pretty good. Bluetooth connects instantly, call quality through the stereo's microphone is good. The screen is very responsive and clear. I've seen people say the screen has no brightness controls but it does on the home screen at the bottom. I leave it on the middle setting and can see it pretty good even in direct sun light. The only two gripes I have with this unit are as follows: 1. The remote does not work. This doesn't bother me much but is worth noting. 2. There are no subwoofer controls. There is an on/off but that's it. It's only controlled through the main equalizer settings. This is something I'm used to having on higher end units. For the price though, I can deal with it. As long as you are not expecting the features of a $600 stereo and know how to install it properly, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the bang for your buck with this one. ... show more

Bright display with a good combination of useful car stereo features making great value for the price. Bluetooth phone access, rear/front view camera support and digital multimedia entertainment are perhaps the most convenient features for modern-day driving. Autolink via USB cable appears to be useful but a bit cumbersome to setup and use; it may have been easier via a wireless connection. Documentation/user manual is too tech-brief and could have been improved with more detailed how-to-do instructions and explanations. Recently the manual volume control became erratic with sudden high volume and now doesn't work. Volume control is only available via the remote. As a result, my initial ratings is downgraded to 3 stars. I hope the seller or manufacturer can help to resolve the volume control problem. ... show more

Installed in my 2006 Ford Escape. Pefect fit with a little trimming behind the cover. -Connected the brake sensor to the radio ground cable to enable the video function. -Illumination signal wire does in fact dim the radio when the headlights are on and you can change the intensity in the settings for each setting. -Calibrating the touchscreen in the settings made it way more responsive. -The radio A-Link app isnt available in the Play Store, you'll need to scan the QR code to get it. Requires the USB to be connected and it mirrors your phone screen. Overall its a quite great radio with simple features. ... show more

I like how it fits in the stock trim on my 2004 Subaru Outback without needing any trimming to make it fit. I always seem to be happy with BOSS stereos in all my cars. I've tried Sony and a few other brands but never had such a good experience as I do with BOSS systems. The only weird thing I've noticed is it will randomly turn its own volume up as if I was to spin the knob, but it's very rare and only goes up slightly. It doesn't happen often enough to really care about it, on like a 2hr car drive it'll happen maybe once or twice. ... show more
