Love this addition to my Bose soundbar! The sound is excellent for such a small package and it completes our home theater experience. The only nit is connecting the speaker wire to the adapter that plugs into the back of the speaker, its super fiddly and uneccessary IMO. Why not ship that cable presassembled? This seems made to appeal to “real” audiophiles from 1987. And yes, that would be me…but I’m older & wiser now…I see how silly I was amd now just want an Easy Button for everything. Bose can do better, make it easy…especially for older customers like me to enjoy your product. Anyway, overall assembly was easy and sound quality is great and we are very happy! They sound great on movies that have good surround effects encoded. I wish the software had an optional setting to just copy the front sound to the surround speakers for unencoded movies. They would be very easy to set up except that the speaker wire comes bare on one end. You have to install the included connectors yourself. There is only the butt of the screw to hold onto the top side of the wire as you tighten it down onto the bottom plate. There should at very least be a moving plate between the screw and the wire. This looks very unattractive and seems like it will probably come out at some point and require repair. For the price and the name they should certainly have used preinstalled connectors on the speaker end as they did on the receiver/power adapter end. Also it seems strange the the power in side of the adapter has a polarized shape but the wire end is not. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have used exclusively Bose products for home entertainment for over 15 years, and I’ve been quite happy. I recently upgraded, and included these surround speakers. What a frustrating experience! The Bose app does not provide option for pairing them with other Bose units (see video). They do not exist as options to pair with the app. If you go to the Bose website, you’ll see “simple to set up" and "connect wirelessly". Untrue! It is impossible to set up. There are no useful instructions on how to anywhere. While you do not have to connect it physically to your entertainment center, in addition to the speaker and power cord, you will receive a separate receiver for each speaker that has to be connected to the speaker. It is manageable and easy enough to connect but you are likely see it a source of clutter if you thought that you would just have two speakers that connect wirelessly. And when you're finally connected the speakers, you might find that they do not work. One of the speakers I received does not work at all except making an annoying crackling sound constantly. In any case, this is a disappointing and an epic fail! I will be returning them. ... show more

These small surround speakers create awesome bass. I was totally caught off guard when I added Bose II rear speakers to my Bose 600 soundbar and 500 Bass Module, the most noticable difference was enhanced bass. I think it's a sound wave thing. Anyway, I love the room filling sound (medium sized family room) these little speakers produce. Setup was very easy using the Bose Music App. They are a bit pricey, but I got them as a birthday gift; I'm not sure I would have bought them if I had to pay for them. I recommend you purchase them through a military exchange if you qualify because they offer a much better discounted price. I might be a little OCD, but I replaced the black power cords with white ones to match the color of the speakers. ... show more

I added these speakers to my sound touch 300 sound bar and now it’s sounds like a movie theater in my home. It’s worth the cost. Don’t get discouraged if it sounds low. You have to raise the volume in the settings in the sound touch app. It’s the little circle that looks like a gear then press audio settings. It took me a few to figure it out. You can raise the sound bar and the speakers in the same place. I sent pictures so you can see. ... show more
