These things are amazing for the money. They're relatively rugged and scratch resistant, but so cheap that if you lose them, abuse them, or accidentally send them mercilessly grinding lens-first down a rough sidewalk, you just grab another pair and call it a day. I'd buy 20 boxes of these and just have them just waiting around if I thought my eyes weren't going to get worse before I lost or destroyed them all. I kept losing or breaking my readers at work so got a cheaper set that I would'nt be upset with losing them and these were perfect they are comfortable for the short time I use them and are actually pretty sturdy so was a very good buy.

My wife does not like the look but I see nothing wrong with them (no pun intended). Price is great and they hold up good with construction work abuse. Sorry Walmart.

I love the glasses they seem to be working fine. The only thing is the edges around the end of the arms are sharp. It's like they didn't smooth them down well in production. I took a fingernail file and filed them down and they were fine after that. Just do this before you put them on or you will scratch your ears. ... show more

From time to time, I buy a six-pack of readers. I think someone in my house borrows them and forgets where they get left. Some perish because the frame around the lens gives up. I can't complain about the price. I bought these because I wanted a 1" high lens to see better above and because I've had good luck with inexpensive spring-loaded framed glasses on Amazon. The best thing about these is their low weight, which aids in keeping them in place. However, the frame arms are sharp on the top and will need sanding. The arms, while the same length as previous models are not as comfortable. It appears in the reviews that something has changed with these. There are better readers for the price on Amazon, but I can't complain about the quality for the price - except to say I would have done better at the dollar store. ... show more
