These are not spring hinge. They are cute and I can see the blue light coating. However, if you have a wide head, or if you need spring hinge, these may not be for you. These are so cute. They feel like expensive glasses. I got the 2.0 which is probably too strong but I can now see all the tiny writing.

The glasses are cute but I am not sure of the quality of the product. Let me explain . The first 2 I opened fit well and was all good. The third pair had a plastic sheath on the arm and fit very snug. This gave me an indication that the last pair were never used, or brand new because of the snugger fit and the plastic sheath. Where was the plastic on the first 2 pair? Then I opened all three pair and realized that 2 pair I could fit my whole fist between the arms when open. One pair I could not. I hope these are not used and returned or people are playing around at Amazon. I am about to sanitize these glasses. ... show more

These reading glasses are stylish, contemporary and have a solid frame. They fit well and the arms are comfortable. The only drawback is they do not have a case to keep them in.
