I am 56 living my best life starting this year, so I bought these glasses. I first thought they would be weird and overkill (a bonus in my eyes actually) but I have gotten TONS of compliments. They have sturdy frame; spring hinge is a bonus, not flimsy. I tend to be rough on my glasses and rip them off my face mercilessly so if that's you, buy these. The yellow frames are gold. The red frames also are metallic color and darker than the picture. The lenses are good and it comes with a lens cloth and a roomy glasses case.

Although I've received compliments on how they look on me, I'm writing to say they don't hold up beyond 9 months to a year of use. Mine have rarely left my desk. Off and on have been their only wearing. Yet, one cracked alone the hinge and did not it properly. The other has now done the same. And somehow the hinge screws quickly dislodge. They require screwing back in every few weeks. I recently changed to another brand. Good purchase if you only want them for nine months or so. ... show more

I've been using dollar store reading glasses for a while and wearing in front of customers. My wife just bought me these as they were a bit more stylish. The quality is certainly better than what I was using. The lenses are made better, the blue light coating seems to be quality. The cleaning cloth is also excellent.
