Love this nano 300 cam! I got it for my dad to use it with his Samsung and noticed that when I downloaded the seek nano app it works great with my iPhone 15 as well! The USB-C connection is seamless and plugs in snuggly. Great image quality, durable, and easy to carry around on my keys so I can just plug it in to get a quick temp reading of my spa, stove, grill, or really anything else. I bought this as a birthday present for my neice who’s a gadget freak! I wanted to test it before, so i opened it, and was so excited to see that it worked with my iphone 15 and iPad as well!! It looks so cute, is so light and was so easy to use and install. She absolutely loved it.. and so did my husband! I got one for him too. I was hoping to submit a nice review for this camera, I just received it today and the sample image looks pretty good compared to other thermal cameras. However, unlike every single other camera product, this app REQUIRES full photo album access on IOS to save a picture. This is not an IOS issue, this is a blatant privacy issue. Seek does not need to have the ability to download every photo on your device to simply save a photo. It does not work with limited access. Every other app out there works with the limited access. Highly disappointed, and if this isn’t resolved by an update during the return window, I’ll be sending this back. Privacy is a serious matter, even these unknown manufacturers of competing products do not try to violate this access. ... show more

    • A big leap in technology and value

The media could not be loaded. This is a great tool for a lot of people and I think the lower price will help it be a more accessible technology than before. Prior to this unit I had the seek reveal, which by comparison is far behind in technology. There were some benefits to a standalone device, but this new Nano 300 has significantly higher resolution, more thermal filters, video recording capability, and is just a small device that simply plugs into your phone. Packaging and the device build quality is admittedly a drop since the reveal. Although probably more environmentally friendly the device ships in a small black ink on regular cardboard box and the spare case that came with this looked really cheap and is totally not worth $25. I could probably 3D print something nearly identical. I have noticed that the sensor does not handle cold temperatures or temperature accuracy like other (older) units. So the image looks better, but determining an exact temperature isn't as good on this model. I am glad they have a new app for this. There were lot of concerns about privacy and the permissions required for the app, but the required permissions make sense to me for what is required (Android requires access to your photos for it to save photos from the app for example). If you don't want to use the microphone permission you can deny that, but I imagine this impacts how the videos come out. Overall I am happy with the new camera! I do want them to make improvements to the app to compete more with FLIR (a kind of overlay that uses your regular camera to make out more details would be handy for example). Also some models better handle colder temperatures and temperature accuracy for a similar price. ... show more

This is an amazing small form factor thermal camera. Very easy to use, just download the APP and plug it into your phone and you are ready to go! It even comes with a small carrying case so I can just toss it into my bag and take it with me anywhere I go. I truly love how small it is, compared to a tradition pistol grip style thermal camera. At this price point I don't think you can find anything better on Amazon. I work with and design electric assemblies. This thermal camera has come in super handy when inspecting prototype designs of our PCBs. As you can see from the images it helped me pinpoint. hot spots in our designs. Such a great tool, and now I can't wait to try it out on even hot and cold surface. Highly recommend!! ... show more

I got the Nano 200 USBC thermal camera, and it’s awesome! I have an iPhone 15 and it worked perfectly with it after I downloaded the Seek Nano app. I had no problems with the connection then. It is super fun to use! I have been using it to see if there are any heat leaks in my house or animals when I am walking outside (I live near a small forest-like park). The best part- it’s small and fits easily in my pocket so I can carry it everywhere. Highly recommend it if you want a thermal camera that works with iPhone 15!! ... show more

The first Seek Nano I received stopped working a few uses in. Both the housing and protective case are notably less solid than the original seek compact I had been using for years and for this reason I was surprised when the nano suddenly stopped functioning and a small rattling noise as though an internal component had come loose…a couple messages to Seek through amazon however and two weeks later I had my replacement nano 300 and the broken one was on its way back with prepaid label that had come with the replacement packaging. So far so good with the improved resolution and refresh rate making it far more effective at identifying areas in my house lacking sufficient insulation or a similar issue hiding beneath the drywall. ... show more
