I’m short, what can I say? And I have tall windows! Even with a 2 foot wand I still had to stand on my tippy ties to reach them. Then I had surgery a few weeks ago…these 3 foot wands are a Godsend! And they’re so much sturdier than the original ones. I would suggest that when deciding if they’ll be a good replacement, to take down the original ones and compare with those pictured so they have a comparable fit. I bought these 2 wands to replace the ones I had on my two slider doors. Although these are 30" vs the 33" that I replaced, it works fine, no issues with the difference in size. They look nice, are well made and sturdy feeling. A bit pricey, but what isn't these days.

HD wands are tiny, small, difficult to operate with arthritic hands for my aging parents. Latest blinds from HD have tiny cheap feeling material for $$$ blinds. The HD wands for our last batch of blinds stunk like stinky plastic for weeks. Get up close, they still stink. Got these new wands and my mom loves them. Easier to grab, easier to turn, goes on in seconds. Better length than the tiny wands HD provides (unless you specify longer). These new wands have no smell out the box. If I buy HD blinds again, maybe they can just keep their tiny stinky plastic wands. I'll get these instead. ... show more
