Scale quit working after 6 months. Cannot recalibrate scale off by 70 lbs Updated. We had issue calibrating scale. After adjusting many times and charging it started to work again. No problems for a couple of weeks now. We will keep scale and seller offered full refund but will decline since we like the scale. ... show more

I got this scale around Christmas because I recently started on a weight loss journey with my nutrition coach and personal trainer. I got it thinking that the scale would be able to give him more information and data on various measurements. I DO think that this is a very good scale and I DO like that it shows information such as BMR (basic metabolic rate) which is important when losing weight! I also like that it shows other body composition features such as muscle percentage, water percentage, which helps me as I lose weight- to be able to see: did it lose or gain in fat, muscle, water, etc. My complaint and frustration is that for the first month, this scale would only measure my weight in kg (kilograms) NOT lbs (pounds), which was frustrating for both me and my trainer/nutrition coach, because we track and monitor my weight. So the weight that I reported to him was the weight in kilograms, then I had to convert it using google. I HOPE that this issue is FINALLY RESOLVED! It was really annoying and frustrating: especially after paying $60!!!! I did reach out to the customer support. Unfortunately the customer support is in another country, no one from America. I was emailing them back and forth. There was no customer service phone number. I sincerely hope that my technical issues have finally been resolved!!! I’m paying a lot of money to work with my nutrition coach and accurate weigh ins are important. I am disappointed in the customer service. Shipping: it comes in an Amazon box with paper wrapping around it. The box containing the unit itself is secured by cardboard, wrapped around it too. Review: When unboxing this I was looking for the cable and it was in the little cardboard piece that I thought was garbage, but the cable is sticking out of it. I have pictures explaining the process of setting up. You have to have Bluetooth enabled and allow access. It has its own app which works very well and it’s very user-friendly. I would say this purchase is worth of money. On a sidenote to get the heart rate monitor to work, you have to tap the little heart icon in the app. Give it access to the camera and put your finger over the flash light area. I am rewriting this review after a previous one stating the scale had stopped working after 3/4 months. With some troubleshooting help from the seller I was able to get it working again. The problem was the charger wasn’t working and so the scale was dead. I had to find another charger that fit the scale(was told not to use specific brands so I had to find a different one) and it ended up working. The cord must be cheap to stop working so soon, but the scale seems to be working fine now. I will update if there are any more issues. ... show more
