This is my Folliculitis Journey and i include ALL THE PRODUCTS I USED to get rid of it. I got Folliculitis on my groin area, i had no idea what it was since i have never had it but it started spreading down my legs and leaving these dark marks/scars. The lesions started multiplying, i went to the doctors who gave me an ointment gel, which did absolutely nothing for me, it was an acne treatment. Since it started getting hotter and summer was near i knew i had to act fast or else i would have to wear pants all summer. First things first, from my research it states not to shave to prevent he spread of Folliculitis, so yes i did just that. I didn't shave for over a month...i know gross but it had to be done. *If you do decide to shave, use a new fresh blade every time you shave in order to prevent spread. I already had the soap since its so amazing and i recommend everyone have this soap in their home it works miracles. I was already using this soap by itself for about 2 weeks prior to buying the Almond Clear bottle and i noticed no difference. When i read that buyers were combining both Almond Clear Serum and the soap i decided to do the same, but still i felt that Hibliclens did not do much for me. Also level 1 is more for someone who might have like 1-4 lesions..or for sensitive areas like the face. I replaced the Hibliclens soap with this product, i leave it on the area for about 5 mins then rinse in the shower. I felt I had to write a review on this product for those that suffer from persistent scalp folliculitis. Although it does not have an indication for scalp folliculitis, I decided to try it as such because I have tried EVERYTHING for this condition. I have tried creams, ointments, shampoos, antibiotics, etc etc as my condition was moderate to severe. I was skeptical at first because of the cost, but decided to give it a go because I paid astronomical amounts of money on all of the other "remedies." The other remedies did have some efficacy, but usually was short lived. I would get the large scalp pimples or folliculitis because I work out and live in a warm climate and the sweat, in my opinion would cause these. It was very embarrassing especially when I went for a haircut as it was hard for the barber to cut around the breakouts. With my breakouts, I usually would have one or two pimples and once it started , after a few days it would be between 10 and 20 pimples throughout the back of my head especially the lower scalp line. After reading the reviews I decided to try it along with Hibiclens as others had done. I would wash my hair at night with an anti-bacterial shampoo and the affected area with Hibiclens. After towel drying I would put the product on the affected areas and around the back of my head and leave on overnight. Within 3 days the pimples were drying out without drying out my scalp too bad. At that time I had roughly 10-15 pimple spots. Three weeks later, I have had NO NEW breakouts and all the pimples have dried out. Even my barber was surprised . I only hope that it continues and I do my daily routine at night and will continue to do so. I did not experience severe drying on the back of my head nor any other side effects. I know everyone is different but for those that have suffered a condition like mine for decades as I have, I can only say praises of this product. I hope it helps all of those that experience the same condition as I do. Finally a product that works!!! Ordering my second bottle and would pay any amount for the results I have gotten. A $30 bottle has done what thousands of dollars on other things could not do. ... show more

Have used it twice so far and it worked from first use. Great product but really expensive. After I run out I'm going to try cheaper one, if that one wont work I guess I'm sticking to this line. Went with level 2 right away. Combining it with Hibiclens. Hibiclens on it's own didnt work. At least maybe because I didnt give it enough time, used it for a week. Well, I got done with my first bottle and decided not to take a chance at other products, since this one works so well. I used to have horrible redness and itching after shaving bikini area, but this lotion takes care of it as well. No sensitivity, redness, nor itching until the next wash. I apply it every night, after shower and before bed. So, I am really happy with it. My problem is that I apply over large area, which creates the need to use larger amount than recommended. Which means I run out of it much faster than in 1 month. So, what I do is that I mix this serum with amlactin. Amlactin on it's own, or with Hibiclens didn't work for me, but mixing with this serum does wonders. On top of saving money on serum I get exactly same results as when I used it without Amlactin. One pump of Amlactin and half a pipette of serum covers large enough area for me. Haven't used this product for two weeks now and no breakouts at all.
