Let me start with what the bundle includes: a shoulder clip, another clip that can attach to pants/belt/shirt pockets, a power supply, USB-C data/power cable, cigarette jack for powering in a car, and lastly a suction mount for windshields in case you need a dash cam in a pinch. You don't really need the included power supply so long as you have a free USB 3.0 standard port available. Controlling the Boblov bodycam is incredibly intuitive thanks to its myriad of buttons totaling to exactly a dozen. Each button is assigned a unique function so there are no combinations or hold that button for x seconds for an alternative function, mumbo-jumbo nonsense. Furthermore, each button is clearly labeled with icons that are easy to interpret so one doesn't need to consult the manual for their operation. Easy peasy as the saying goes. Onto the video quality--- it's decent, capable of capturing footages up to 2K@30fps. That said, I think the reader will understand that something like this will never compare to the smartphones of today by any stretch of the imagination. Furthermore, I'll refrain from calling it something akin to an action cam because it simply isn't. More on this to follow below. This camera does seem to have some sort of processing to handle movements, just that which lacks sophistication. This leads to a noticeable bobbing even when walking at a slightly faster pace than normal. Furthermore, it doesn't handle lighting well leading to grainy pictures in environments that are anything darker than a sunny, cloudless day. That said, it has a couple of tricks up in its sleeves to compensate for this shortcoming. Hardware-wise, poor lighting visuals in the dark are balanced by the user's ability to turn on the bodycam's built-in LED. It's a capable flashlight in its own right and brightens up the immediate vicinity enough to capture what otherwise would've been a completely dark foreground. Software-wise, the user can also turn on its night vision mode. It works as one would expect to illuminate poor lighting conditions in pitch darkness. The camera comes with a "stealth mode" which completely turns off the LED to indicate its recording status. It also turns off sounds and beeps that would arise from navigating menus to turning on/off the device. It's quite sneaky and I'll leave it to the reader for suitable applications for such a feature. The user is able to play back and even select and delete the captured videos from the unit itself without the need to connect the device to a computer. The included data cable ensures an easy experience however, in said connectivity. To close, this is a pretty good body cam. It doesn't capture videos in the highest caliber but its use is more geared towards visually documenting real-life interactions for an extended period of time, not vibrant instagram stories or tiktok videos that only last for seconds at a sitting. This camera is pretty versatile for its small size. It has many features like a red laser, night vision, and warning lights (red and blue) Great for lawmen documenting. And patrol. However, like most electronics, getting too hot on the dash and it will turn off and not respond until cooled down. Other than that, my only real complaint is that the dash cam mount is loose and has some play. I drive a Lincoln so it’s not a big deal but if your an off-road driver, it may prove to be problematic for your picture quality. You can also use it as a dash cam which is what I use it for. It comes with everything you need including the suction cup and the charger to keep it charged. The camera quality is great especially for the size. Full 1080p quality. it holds up to 32GB of data. It has a built in flashlight and a laser pointer. Night vision is crystal clear. It also records audio and take pictures. It holds almost as much power as a fully charged iPhone 15 Pro Max. VERY DURABLE.
