I’ve used all types of 360 cameras and the ONEX2 is definitely becoming my favorite. What makes this different from the ONEX is that the ONEX2 is water proof, has a grippy casing, and is able to use the AI features. Compared to the ONE R, it has a more simplistic design which I prefer for a 360 camera. Also the 360 stitching is better because of the design, it won’t move or budge compared to the ONE R when using their selfie stick. The quality is awesome, when I compare to other brands nothing stands out from one another but that’s where the pricing and additional features come into play for this camera. It’s just too convenient. Quality can also drop depending where you post, social apps tend to lower quality a little, just a heads up if you see some videos and question the quality. I saw a review about this not being waterproof which is totally false. They must’ve not close the coverings correctly or dived too deep. The box even comes with an instructions manual regarding the waterproofing. AI features, these are fun things to try out, makes making content easy and gives you some creative direction! The Battery life is way better than it’s older model. However I suggest taking shorter videos to not drain your battery all at once. This is what I do so I’ve never actually considered if the battery life was good or bad because it always was good. Also taking long videos can be a pain to edit. The app is easy to use and you can make cool edits with it ALL FROM YOUR PHONE. Shameless plug but see some of my videos on IG @t4tien. Every 360 video I’ve edited has used their app on my phone! Last, if you’re getting this camera you need to get the invisible selfie stick. It automatically stitches out, I assume you know that since you’re looking at 360 cameras but it’s a must have. Good video I use it in my car with a 3 suction cup mount. Only thing if you try and record under water you will see the line unless you get the case for it. Good size and the app is easy to use.

This camera is amazing with all of its functions. The app is very user friendly, although can get a bit complicated if trying to do more advanced editing. Negatives- Camera seems to randomly shut off while recording, I found that getting a higher quality SD card can help this but even using one that matches their "Specs" I still have this issue. ... show more

    • BEWARE - Insta360 DOES NOT SUPPORT CUSTOMERS - I bought 3
WARNING WARNING WARNING .... DO NOT BUY AN INSTA360 One X2 BE WARNED --- I bought THREE (3) Insta360 One X2 cameras. --- BE WARNED The first two were defective within a couple weeks and thankfully I bought them through Amazon Prime and was able to return them. The 3rd one worked well for the most part but the 1-cent plastic cover that protects the charging port is easily lost. Without it, the camera is not waterproof. The double lens camera MUST have lenses protected but the available lens covers are crap. Imagine having a very nice 35-mm camera lens and putting a piece of plastic wrap over it. ....exactly! ... The Insta360 One X2 has serious overheating problems. The micro-SD storage card fits immediately next to the battery and the camera is mostly battery. The battery gets quite hot and if you're using it in hot summer weather ... trust me, the camera has trouble storing the nice video you just made. ... If you want to use the available remote, as I did, you'll find it works for about 2-weeks before it simply quits. Did I mention they charged $36.00 for shipping an item what weights about 3-ounces? ... Not a problem you say? Simply press the button on the body of the camera you say? That does work!!! Well, it works for about 2 weeks ... ohhh, as long as it's not too hot outside, which heats up the battery. ... You think you want a better microphone and buy the available jack that fits into the charging port ... forget it. Does NOT work. The microphones on the camera itself work but not well and only if you're in a quite room, i.e. outside - forget it. ... Not a problem you think, huh? Insta360 will support their product you believe, huh? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Three months after I first contacted Insta360 to try to get them to send me a 1-cent charging port cover, after at least a dozen emails, after they ask me to make a video of the problem to send to them (really!), I'm still waiting. Trying to get a replacement or refund for the defective remote and audio adapter ... same story. They want me to send them a video showing them the problem. They don't work. What video am I to make and send. I could go on with the issues I've had with Insta360 but what's the point? I've wasted enough time on Insta360. I haven't tried the 360 GoPro but no way could it be a worse experience than with Insta360. If Insta360 was a Canadian, or EU, or US company, they'd be out of business. WARNING WARNING WARNING ....
