So I read somewhere that somebody was rebuilding a vintage Haro and these fit perfectly unfortunately they did not fit my 1987 Team Master the cables were either too short or too long. Just an FYI your levers have to be adjustable type barrel with open slotted for the cable, these do not fit in the regular levers. Otherwise the price is really good and the build quality seems OK not Dia Compe but pretty decent if it’s a rider ... show more

After reading through some of the reviews, I wasn't sure it was going to fit my bike. So, let me set the record straight: If you are replacing a gyro, or building a 80's-90's BMX/freestyle bike with a threaded 1" fork, then THIS IS FOR YOU! If you aren't hung up on brands, or labels or being era-perfect on your rebuild, I can't imagine a better solution for the price. It comes with EVERYTHING you need (top and lower rotor plates, the actual rotor itself, and the cables. And while I can't be exactly sure it comes with every order, mine came with brake cables for the front AND rear brakes, so you can replace all your cables at once if you run f/r brakes. Honestly, I was surprised at what I got, and the quality, for the price. For what most companies charge for just the cable, you can replace the entire thing. I do wish the actual metal parts came in colors, besides black and silver, but for the price its hard to complain. Will definitely be ordering again! ... show more

Awesome cables. Replaced stock set that snapped on 20 inch mongoose bmx bike. Thought it was too short at first but after adjusting the lower cable if fit perfect.

The stock cables on my son's mongoose were frozen so I got these to replace. The install was pretty easy. I had to trim one of the sheaths to the back but it was no biggie. Great deal and he has brakes again. I don't know longevity but would recommend this kit.
