Would be 5 stars if not for shipping issues. Product arrived with very torn up box. There are a few dents on the mast which aren’t visible with the positioning of umbrella in our yard. Didn’t want to risk continued back and forth with exchanges also being damaged. Packaging needs vast improvement! Umbrella itself is great. Looks perfect in the yard and is super easy to operate. So I can’t take credit for the assembly, but my son had it assembled in about 20 minutes. I’m so happy with the coverage area and the ease of operation. I bought all new patio furniture when I downsized, but the sun on my patio is brutal. This umbrella is allowing me to sit and read in shade at any time of day. It’s well made and sturdy. I’m still waiting for the Bluu base to arrive and I need to order an umbrella cover. An added bonus that I wasn’t aware of….little Velcro straps at the end of each pole….great for hanging a string of lights. Go for it, you’ll be happy!

The packaging took a beating but everything was good inside. To assemble the umbrella it was literally 5 steps. It took me about 5 minutes but it can be done in under 1 minute. Umbrella is much bigger and taller than anticipated. It felt stable and secure. Umbrella does not come with base, you'll need your own method or buy a base.

The media could not be loaded. Fabulous umbrella but it moves a lot in the wind even with the 300+ rated base. A little frightening to have the little one under it, but we still like it’s features of adjusting up down and swivel. Just wish it was a bit more sturdy in the wind.

The base of the umbrella broke for us - not expecting much, we contacted the customer service to get a replacement part. To our surprise, they delivered, at no cost! We were able to receive the spare part and reassemble the umbrella. We have no complaints with how the umbrella is working - super happy with the product. Even more satisfied with the good customer service.

I purchased this 10' umbrella on sale for $299.00 plus tax. It arrived much quicker than expected, and was as described. We have had heavy duty umbrellas snap in the past, so we do lower this every time it's not in use. It raises and lowers with ease. We also like the crank that allows us to position it exactly. It's waterproof and has allowed us to sit outside in light rain. We've had no issues. highly recommend. Also purchased an outdoor 8x10 rug from Amazon, matched perfectly.

OK, this got complicated... The reason for 3 stars was that the product I received had some damage and missing parts. If it wasn't for the excellent customer service (shout out to Anna), it would have earned a one star. If there were no problems, it would have earned a 4 star. The Not So Good: The crank handles and connecting bolts were missing from the box, a few small, but noticeable, scratches and dings on the main post area. After assemble, I noticed two small holes in the canopy fabric also. It looks like I got a returned product that was repackaged. Also, a "feature" of this umbrella is that it will not open to a full horizontal position. This may not bother some but, in my mounting/placement situation, it just looked crooked. (Note, there is a small plastic stop block that could be removed which would allow the umbrella to adjust to horizontal). The fabric is OK but seems a little thin. I really wish Bluu would offer replacement canopies because I can't imagine this lasting more than a 2-3 years. The Good: Customer Service. They were really responsive and took care of the missing parts and replaced the canopy. Even though they are presumably located in China, the turn around was quick and communication was easy. A lot better than some domestic companies I've dealt with. The design and construction of the main post and supporting ribs seems very robust. The mechanisms for turning and raising and lowering are excellent. I would recommend this umbrella and might even buy another one, just check it over thoroughly before assembling. Update: They really deserve 4 stars so I have updated this due to their over the top customer service and the problems I encountered may have been the fault of the shipper and not the manufacturer.
