  • A simpler way to water houseplants
Size: 9 Pack
I purchased this to make it easier for my plants to be cared for when I'm traveling. I highly recommend this product for these reasons: 1. Simple & effective - It's a simple system but very effective. You simply fill a cone with water, place the cap back on, and insert into the soil of the plant. I agree with some reviewers that it's helpful if the soil is a little moist before getting the cone to go in more easily. 2. No overwatering - The plant drinks as much water as it needs. It also means that instead of watering the plant with a watering can, the soil doesn't dry out to the point of water just "running through" the soil instead of being absorbed. 3. Convenient & Easy - Instead of having to take each plant to the sink to be watered, the plant can stay put, and all that is needed is to refill the water vessel you have next to the pot. 4. Use less water - When I'm watering my plants with a watering can, I use much more water to really get the plant soaked. With this method, I used about 6 ounces of water which the plant drinks over a few days. Overall, a great purchase. ... show more

  • Plant Watering Stakes - These working EXCEEDINGLY well!
Size: 6 Pack
These Plant Watering Stakes working EXCEEDINGLY well! Easy to install, and FAST to set up. I was half way out the door to go on a week long vacation, and I was worried out some plants I had on the windowsill. Three Plant Watering Stakes, each one attached to a small plant each, and using a single Venti sized Starbuck's tumbler of water between them, kept them alive and thriving! VERY HELPFUL product! ... show more

  • Kept my plants alive
Size: 9 Pack
I bought a couple of packages of these watering stakes. I used them for some of my mid size to smaller plants. Set them up with small buckets of water for the hoses and they worked great. For some of the mid size plants (gallon size planters) I used two stakes. I was out of town for four days and the plants were outside in 90+ degree weather for 4 days, no rain. All my plants did well only two were drooping when I returned. All survived which is awesome! If used indoors I would think they would work for longer than four days. ... show more

  • Works well.
Size: 9 Pack
I have 9 blumat watering cones. All my pots are small to medium sized. System waters slowly and does not fill the tray on most plants with water. However, I had to adjust the height of 2 plants (loose peat moss/vermiculite/dirt mix) because they watered too fast, filling the tray slightly. I put the plants on a 4 inch box, and now they water slower and perfectly. If you wanted to water a plant faster, just place the plant slightly lower than the water reservoir. Suggestion...if you're leaving for a trip, get them several months before you leave, so you can adjust their watering amount over time. Also, per instructions, allow cones to soak for >15 minutes and fill tubing with water fully while installing. This insures excellent draw of water from reservoir to cones. I would buy again. ... show more

  • This is the best watering system
Size: 6 Pack
I have purchased the 5 pack & the larger 3 pack. If you have a lot of plants, this watering system is the best. My house has plants in 5 different rooms so watering & checking the plants for water took up a lot of time. I have tried the watering bulbs & the suspended bags but I recommend this system. When setting up, submerge the bulb part in water for at least 15 minutes & water the plant well. Afterwards submerge the tube line into your water vessel (I bought 4 tall cylinder shape glass florist vases at a thrift store for $7 total). When you put the cap onto the bulb press down firmly with your palm & make sure that bubbles appear. It's important that any air is released so water will siphon into the dirt otherwise the system won't operate correctly. Place the bulb almost up to the bottom of the cap into the dirt near the base of your plant. That's it - you are done. If the end of the tube line goes above the water line or if you clean the water vessel, you will need to set up the system again. I still top water my plants occassionally so the dirt doesn’t harden on top. And you do need to clean the water vessel occasionally depending if its exposed to direct sunlight. Also make sure that the end of the tube line is clean. This system has made caring for ferns indoors a lot easier. The ferns in the pics I have attached were in 4" pots about a year ago. All 3 have 2 bulbs them (1 large & 1 medium/small). I generally need to add water every 7-10 days. I did try adding fertilizer into the water but it ended up making a green mess in the water vessel. I then had to clean everything including the tube line. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is to attach a little more weight to the end of the tube line otherwise this is a perfect watering system. It doesn't over water nor under water. ... show more

  • Stakes worked well; Recommended.
Size: 6 Pack
I bought the watering stakes because I was going on a two week vacation. I had 5 houseplants. Most were succulents and might have been okay. But I had a blooming cyclamen that would need more frequent watering. The day before I left, I followed the directions and set up each plant with a stake. I arranged the plants around a bucket with about 1.5 gallons of water in it. I placed the ends of the tubes so they were touching the bottom of the bucket. When I returned my plants looked better than when I left. The cyclamen was blooming more than it was when I left. Each had moist soil. One had drawn a bit too much and overflowed on the table -- my fault, I should have put a better tray under it. About half of the water was still in the bucket, so I could have been away much longer if that had been needed. The product met my expectation. I will be using the stakes again and recommending them to my friends. ... show more

  • Hit or Miss, Needs Perfect Setup
Size: 3 Pack
Works well when perfectly setup, but if you're off by just a bit it doesn't work at all.
