  • Exactly what I needed, sturdy, good storage
Color: Natural Wood Size: 18.5"D X 44"W X 49.5"H
I needed an outdoor work table for gardening and this one is perfect. It’s sturdy and has some spacious storage for supplies. I really like the metal surface so I don’t have to worry about water damage. The hooks on the side hold several tools. It was a little time consuming to assemble, but the parts were nicely organized and the instructions were clear. The upper shelf doesn’t hold much as it’s pretty narrow, but I have no problem with that. Plus it was a great price compared to others I looked at. ... show more

  • Requires patience during assembly...
Color: Natural Wood Size: 18.5"D X 44"W X 49.5"H
Pros: the bench came with each part clearly labeled, including all the screws. Looks wonderful once completed. Cons/Drawbacks: Holes aren't pre-drilled. The wood was a bit "knotty" so screws weren't going in straight, and due to the type of the wood there were some minor splits. The directions were okay, but when things had to be laid out in a certain direction, it wasn't clear. I had to unassemble and reassemble a few parts because they could go one of two directions, and I chose wrong. The drawings weren't clear on that. Since holes weren't pre-drilled, I'd often get screws going in crooked. End Result: It's cute, it's functional. I'm not sure I'd recommend it unless you're a bit more than a novice at assembling things such as this. Had I realized, I would have bought a different product, I think. ... show more

  • Good Value
Color: Natural Wood Size: 18.5"D X 44"W X 49.5"H
Great table for the money. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the perceived durability and sturdiness of this product. Yes it’s made of soft pine, and yes it’s not super heavy but remember you are only paying ~ $120 for this table. Not sure the folks complaining know what teak, cedar or redwood costs these days. For the price you are getting a basic potting table with a nice drawer and a small cabinet. It is stained and maybe treated for insects (smells like cedar). Everything in my shipment fit well but not perfectly, none the less it went together easily and the instructions were clear, at least to me. There are some dowel and mortise and tenon joins which should be glued in my opinion but it’ll be fine without. All the screws and bolts were clearly labeled in individual packets as were the wooden pieces of the table. We are going to put this potting table in an area next to our large vase potted flowers in a space that will be partially covered but still exposed to the weather. Having said that I will purchase some adjustable feet to keep the legs out of rain water and plan on giving it a coat or two of spar varnish or Tung oil. Wouldn’t expect this to last for years and years but is well worth the price. If you are determined to get something that you’ll hand down to generations to follow, this is not for you but I’d still recommend it for the price. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Color: Natural Wood Size: 18.5"D X 44"W X 49.5"H
Excellent product. Requires significant assembly, but if you take your time and follow instructions, it's not hard. Good quality potting bench. I like the sheet metal top. The shelves and tool hangars, drawer and cabinet make a very convenient installation.

  • Easy to assemble, versatile
Color: Natural Wood Size: 18.5"D X 44"W X 49.5"H
This was very easy to assemble, despite what seemed like 5 million pieces. It comes right together easily. I had no split or damaged pieces, and I appreciated how the bag of screws/instructions was tethered to the box with a piece of ribbon, secured with packing tape, so even if there was a hole in the box those important items would not slip out. It was very well packed with styro sheets and blocks. I treated all the pieces with linseed oil prior to assembly to protect this very lightweight and dry wood that will absorb moisture. I would recommend some kind of sealant/poly/varnish or something if it is intended to be outside in the elements. Mine will be on a screened porch so it won't be in direct contact but it will get damp and will be affected by the weather, so I chose to oil it. I will likely need to re-treat once a year. This item shouldn't be limited at all to use as a potting bench. It can be used as an outdoor kitchen (will likely purchase a 2nd one for the tiny mountain cabin we have in the remote mountains), a drinks bar indoors or out (how about using regular enamel paint for indoor use, with attractive ceramic painted or novelty knobs instead of the drawer pull and latch that comes with it?), a work bench in the garage, a standing desk or craft station in a kitchen, or even for folding clothes in the laundry room. There is plenty you could do with this, and with a few modifications it could be dressed up for any location. I was going to give it 4 stars because, let's face it, this is not fine furniture, but for what it is, and the price, you really get a versatile and useful piece that can be painted/treated to last quite a long time. The metal surface on top is a wonderful touch. I gave it 5 stars. ... show more

  • Missing Part
Color: Natural Wood Size: 18.5"D X 44"W X 49.5"H
For the price this is a fine little potting table. It took longer than the suggested hour to assemble which was ok, but a major piece was missing, the bottom of the drawer, #15. We took it all out of the box and thought it was complete because the #15 sticker was on one side and 14 sticker on the other of # 14, which we did not realize. After two hours of assembling it, we realized that #15 was missing. I was hoping to get the piece from the company but that effort was futile. I tried to get some help from Amazon but could not get past the automated return, which we did not want to do after all the work we had just done putting it together. So hopefully we can find something ourselves to fix the problem. This will be used to hold a coffee pot, a little microwave and for some light storage inside a heated cabin. I do not think this would last very long if exposed to the elements, even if sealed. You get what you pay for and this was not expensive. ... show more
