Be sceptical of the bad reviews. This is an additional Bluetti I purchased and it too performs as intended. Build quality is very good; the user interface is easy; power for AC and DC; hands free Bluetooth; light weight; multiple charging options; sexy :). What's Not to like? OK, I suggest not paying full retail price. It's not worth that to me, but value is a users opinion. As far as the quality and longevity of the batteries is concerned, only time will tell, but I am quite hopeful. Good unit. Easy to put in roof top tent to run lights, laptop and cellphones. Also used to AC charge my Bluetti AC70 from my 400 watt truck inverter as it only requires 270 watts for standard charging.

    • Saved me on my first day of use!

It has been only one day and this has saved me. I work from home and my power went out. This device had enough power to keep my desktop computer running for four hours. I could monitor my power from my ipad as I was working. I just happened to purchase the car/ xt60 adapter. This allowed me to use two Anker 521 solar banks as a bolster to keep me running a full work day. I love my Anker 521 s and their amber light, and their slightly higher capacity. However I lost power once for 48 hours. With a generator it still took way too long to top off these banks. The bluettie will turbo charge itself with that same generator in a really short amount of time. Eventually my power came back on. Instead of unplugging my computer I just plugged my bluetti back into the wall. The bluetti charged itself and once full it used the wall power for the computer. It really does pass the power through. Where my Ankers seemed to sip on the battery power potentially degrading the battery over time. This really could be used as a UPS, and i will plug into my bluetti when the next storm comes. For some reason my Ankers did cause my computer to shut down as if a surge had tripped them at least three times in eight hours. The Bluetti with the same 300 watt, but lower watt hour, did not have this problem. It was smooth sailing. My desktop computer was only using at max 30/35 watts. This Ac2A reminds me of the Ecoflow that I always wanted, the River Mini. However the mini did not have LIFEPO BATTERIES. They were only good for 500 cycles before degrading. This Bluetti is potentially good for 3k cycles. The Ankers have a conspicuous lunch box appearance. The small size of the bluettie and hidden handle would make me feel less conscpicuous if I needed to emergency charge at a coffee shop for instance. There was a Hurricane I went through where half the city grid was down. With a device like this I could have run to a family members house and zip zoomed a charge really fast. Heck just driving and charging would have almost had me to full. In emergencies speed charging is king! Here is another kick. I have power banks that output 65 to 100 watts. Potentially I could use a usbc/ xt60 adapter to support my bluetti with those banks. I will have to test that later. I know my ankers will siphon power from those banks with a usbc to usbc connection. Tax Return season is here and I am allready eyeballing the bluetti AC180. With this speed charge technology, if paired with a propane generator, I could survive a hurricane power outage in style. And keep the emergency devices topped off. Living through the Texas freeze gave me an interest in these devices. ... show more

I had previously purchased three different Jackeriy power banks of different sizes and all performed better than adequately, until one day one of them failed. Now, this review is not about Jackery, who by the way replaced the item even after the official warranty period had expired (so good on them) This review is about something called "Pass Through Charging" and I think although the Jackery is good for saving power for an emergency, camping or off grid applications the type of battery it uses seems more susceptible to heat buildup while being continuously plugged in and used as a pass through device. One of my uses for these backup batteries is that I wanted something to plug my cable modem into in case there was a power outage. I have ring cameras (which have their own batteries) but when the power, and thus the internet goes down, so do my cameras ability to tell me what is going on if I'm not there. The Bluetti is a LiFE battery and has noticeably lower heat generation when continuously plugged in and powering my modem. Also, the recharge rate from a deep discharge is quite a bit faster than the Lithium batteries. If pass through is your application, go with the Bluetti. ... show more

I live off grid. I have a Jackery 300 that I run fairy lights, charge phone and iPad, a reading light and occasionally an electric keyboard. I only need to recharge every three days. I wanted another 300 for fairy lights in my living space. I purchased the Bluetti as it was on sale and I was only running fairy lights. I charged it fully and ran fairy lights for a few hours. Then I turned it off at 81% charge. In the morning the Bluetti had only 44% charge. It shouldn’t be draining that fast while turned off. I will return this! Get a Jackery! ... show more

They handle their own shipping and claim to have backorder problems. Never delivered despite claims they did. This caused me to dig deeper. Read up on Bluetti and go with Ecoflow instead. Customer support is either very bad or sometimes good. Many bad stories out there. Charging issues. Many people can't get units to charge. Quality issues with calibration. People are getting unusual discharge rates when idle or other charge discharge issues. Capacity lies. Shipping delays or non delivery, note fine print any returns for any reason even defective all shipping costs are your responsibility.... ... show more
