I got the twin pack and I’m glad that I did!! These are quality bird houses, very easy to assemble, and I love the brass hole hard and hardware. There are great guide holes drilled for assembly and everything aligned very well. The hand screwdriver, that was included was all that was needed to put them together. I would order these again! Update 1st 😊: this is SO precious....I have 1 full nest (no eggs yet) and 1 nest being built inside my 2 boxes ( pics added)...all of this happend yesterday, so a week after I mounted them. I definitely recommend these...do the wild birds a favor and give them a safe place to lay and rause their babies this Spring ... ❤️ below is Original posted review after receipt of nesting boxes: I have many birds in my area, and been observing them struggling to find a safe nesting area for when it is that time of year. The last 2 years some (obviously) first time mommy bird built a nest under my deck and she was quite stressed a few times I couldn't avoid going on my deck. So, to eliminate that, and provide the cuties with more safety and a roof of their own, I decided on this nesting box. I chose this one bc of the reviews, so, MANY thanks to all whom take 5 minutes to review items. So here are the details: - Assembly is SUPER EASY- tool is also provided 🤗 (took under 5 min to assemble) - Instructions are SUPER EASY to follow -nothing comolicated...no handyman needed 🤭 - Looks AWESOME I will place some meal worms on and in it in 2 weeks, so the bluebirds will find them. I bought the twin pack, bc it had better price than single unit. It arrived perfectly packaged, and get this BEST PART...ALL the pre drilled holes line up !! It's a win-win! I am hoping for happy bird families this spring, and hopefully also a round 2 come July. Buy it, you will NOT regret it ! P.S.: You see I mounted on fence post, though you should avoid that per brochure, but those posts are closest to small trees and butterfly bushes, for the babies to try flop their wings when it's time to leave the nest, and not fall to the ground I will update if this mounting choice was not a good idea. ... show more

Well made and easy to assemble. The roof could be a bit larger to prevent rain from entering and shielding from sun. Solid wood but not sure what kind. Unique door clasp is nice. I would buy again.

Well made birdhouse, good solid materials and the boards are thick. The birdhouse was as shown in the photo. Wood color was nice, with some natural variation which adds to the look. All holes are pre-drilled and assembly was simple. This would be a fun project to do with a child, as all you have to do is screw the boards together. They even include a small screwdriver. Since it's cedar, no need for paint. Assembly took about 5 minutes, if even that. Note that it does not have the traditional perch, however current wisdom says they're not needed and they can be used by predators so it's best to not have one. ... show more

bought 3 sets of 2 houses....quality materials, easy assembly, look great with great clean out access. I learned it is best not to tighten all the screws during assembly....thread the screws in but leave the screw head sticking out until all screws are in place and all wood is aligned...then finish tightening the screws..... ... show more

It was fun to build with children, who could do most of the work alone except navigating some of the instructions. They fir together well. They are solud. The screw holes are countersunk which is a nice feature. They hang securely on a tree with 3 screws, (holes accessed from inside the House). All in all, a very nice set. ... show more

I don’t usually write product reviews, but I’m so impressed with this birdhouse kit from SISTERBIRD that I had to share. With so many birdhouse kits on the market, it can be hard to know which one to choose, but this one is by far the best I’ve come across. While bluebird houses are typically easy to build, the quality of materials in this kit and the thoughtful design make it truly stand out. Everything comes pre-drilled with all the necessary hardware, and they even include a screwdriver, assembly took just minutes. The finished birdhouse is solid, well-crafted, and looks great. You really can’t go wrong with this kit. I’ll be including a picture so you can see the quality for yourself. Highly recommended, and kudos to SISTERBIRD for such a well-made product. ... show more
