I purchased the Blue works salt cell in Oct. 2022. It worked Great. I started having a problem with it not generating chlorine in August 2023. I called customer service on August 16, the customer service rep was very polite. They e-mailed me instructions, which I followed. They e-mailed back to let me know they received my pictures. The Blue Works 60P replaced a Pentair IC40. Installation really was a 5 minute job. I had no issues with the salt cell starting up and running. Unfortunately the flow sensor failed after 2 months. I contacted customer service who were very responsive and easy to deal with and are sending a replacement sensor. Very nice to see this level of support. ... show more

This is an expensive item but much cheaper than the brand item it replaces. This is my first season using, it remains to seen how long it will hold up compared to the brand item. It has a lot of extra features, one I really like is it will test the salinity for you, just press a button, then decide if you need to add salt. It will tell you how many ppm. ... show more

I’ve owned this cell for a few months now. I have to run this unit at 100% output for 18-20 hours a day. My old Pentair IC40 only ran for 8-10 hours a day on 70% output. I’m doubtful that this unit will last 5 years with this run cycle. No way I’ll save money in the long run. Should’ve bought the Pentair. ... show more

Less than a year old the control panel had an issue requiring repair/replacement. Blue Works customer service is addressing issue to send replacement part. Timely response and resolution thus far.

Ran into an issue with a salt cell I bought that stopped working after only about 6 months of having it. I contacted Tech support, and they have been extremely responsive in helping get it figured out. Ultimately it couldn’t be repaired, so the company offered to replace it for me.
