  • HOW TO ORDER: Each cellular shade is produced at exact size as your order. For inside mount, it is important you order the shade width 1/4" ? 3/8? smaller than the actual window width. Please refer to the inside mount photo size chart between actual window width vs Shade Width to order. For outside mount, you can order the size you want, we recommend ordering additional width to prevent light gaps on the sides of your window. Please refer to how to measure and how to order illustrations.

They are single cell blackout fabrics that provide room darkening and complete privacy perfect for bedrooms and rooms where you want to block the light. The spun lace fabric is durable, not like others that have a paper feel. These are high quality shades and are economical.

The cordless operation also allows you to not have to order the exact length of your window. Our cellular shades with cordless operation allow the shade to stop at any length up to 72" tall. For windows less than 48" tall order the 48" height. For windows between 48" tall and 72" tall order the 72" length, you just simply lower the shade to the desired length.

Goes on super easily. Blackout feature works. You will probably get a very thin outline of light around the shades after install, but if you measured right, it'll be barely noticeable if at all. I do recommend using construction screws instead of what they supply though. Spax brand screws from Menards worked perfectly for me. The shade isn't really white, but more like an off white (which I hate). I haven't been able to put the handles on ...they are not the handles shown in the video. One of the brackets broke when we tried to hang it. Customer Service was very responsive and are sending new brackets and the correct handles. Okay so today I got the correct handles and new brackets. I gave one more star based on great customer service! ... show more

Pros: They block the heat very well. 100% better than our old metal blinds. They are easy to install. My husband and I did it together but I could have done it myself. You will need a drill to screw into the wall or wood frame unless you are strong with a screwdriver. They came promptly and in perfect condition. Last year I ordered for another room and there were no instructions, they now come with instructions in each box.. They are contemporary and beautiful. I think they are reasonably priced - I am doing one room at a time as affordable. They stay clean - I have dark brown in one room and they have been up for over a year and are still pristine - they don't seem to collect dust. I highly recommend these blinds. Cons: If you want to get picky, I guess you could say that they only come in two lengths, but that hasn't bothered us at all and you cannot visibly see that they are not custom lengths. One buys a cellular shade for insulation, otherwise I'd buy the cheaper vinyl shades... The outside mounting of the shade leaves a gap on the edges because honeycomb is not flat... I'm sure they would be great for inside mounting... These are great shades, but if you need to use the outside mount option and one is buying them for insulation, not recommended... Don't get me wrong otherwise this is a good quality shade... ... show more

I had to special order due to my windows being 58 inches wide but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. For just over $100 per window, I got these blinds and I love them! Fairly easy to install, do great job blocking light and helping keep the house cool.
